Of course this is what would happen when a small population hub decides the political leaning of the entire state. Wish them the very best in their fight, may the eastern Oregonians get the peace and political representation they deserve.
I read about this story not too long ago. Given that the state of Oregon’s power is centralized in Eugene it has marginalized just about the entire rural part of the state that tends to vote conservative. Personally I think it should happen, but that is another can of worms that is certain to draw some intense fighting and shenanigans from the left.
