Read Every Word Of This & Tell Me Why Whites Didn't Burn The Entire State

No, Texas does NOT need to amend the law. It’s written this way for a reason.

Yeah, there’s a reason for every law, and sometimes laws are stupid as with this one. Property is not of the same value as life, and one day Texas will pull its head out of its ass and amend the stupid law.

Let me ask a question. Why would you be against using deadly force to protect your property? If someone takes what you own, they are effectively taking your labor and giving you nothing in return. I thought slavery was bad?

I just told you, my values do not place a TV (or any other property) above human life. There’s a reason why no other states have such idiotic law.

It occurs to me, if someone decides to break into my home & steal my property; “they believe” my property is more valuable than “their life”. If not, they wouldn’t try to break in. Sounds logical to me.

I don’t think such law protects you where you live…

Well, you just stay your ass out of Texas and don’t steal my stuff and you don’t have to worry about our “silly laws”, ok? My values say that people that steal from you are taking your labor and effectively enslaving you for the period of time that it took to earn that stuff. Slavery is NEVER acceptable, which is why I oppose Democrats efforts to take us to socialism.

I have no intentions of doing so…

Last three years, people have been stealing my snow shovels. This year I’ll be putting out bait snow shovels. Maybe just use the paint ball gun. In my county I still believe there is a shoot snow shovel thieves law, still on the books. Permanent Orange 0.68 Self defense Paintballs - Anti crime …

Seems like after the first time that you’d secure your shovels in a locked shed or garage…

Good point, the neighborhood is no longer 100% white. Been that way for 3 years. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

So what, black lives matter too…

Anyone ( ANYONE! ) trying to do me harm; well, I gotta be honest; their life really doesn’t matter to me. We have laws, etc.; but civilization exists on a thin veneer; and every crack allows more sanity to leak out. Here’s my deal, if a criminal doesn’t try to harm me or my family, or try to steal what I worked all my life for, I won’t shoot that criminal. Tell me that ain’t fair. Balls in the criminals court.

Oh come on, you know petty thieves aren’t going to steal a snow shovel. That’s a tool to be used for work… I’d check the neighbor’s kid that’s asking to shovel your sidewalks if he’s seen them.

Point taken. Most kids are just flighty. Anyway, I’m more concerned about the home proper, and not the garden shed. Still, I’m philosophical. If someone steals my snow shovel or lawn mower, I no longer have to shovel snow or mow the lawn. I usually mow the lawn when I get a threatening letter from the township.

Yup. Theft of a TV is despicable but stealing tools used for making your living or caring for your property takes a special kind of asshole.

Apparently presently only in Texas…
