The video shows the lights on when the missile struck it. You can see both the jet’s lights and the trace of the missile in two different videos.
Iran does not even have the equipment to open much less download the black boxes.

Or, they were conducting their own internal investigation and wanted to be sure it was an Iranian missile before they took ownership of it.
How were they investigating while bulldozing the site?
The site was scrubbed before the Ukrainian investigators could even arrive.
It wouldn’t take 30 minutes after the missile launch for the entire chain of command to know exactly who launched it.
The last words from the pilot to ATC was everything is well and all is peaceful.
Those would be very odd words coming from a pilot. I suspect there’s a problem with the translation.
That doesn’t explain your version of the crash site bulldozing.
I read, (on the internets) that: An Israeli air force Boeing rivet joint surveillance plane with NCCT capability changed the radar profile of the Ukrainian passenger jet filled with mainly Iranians into that of a hostile incoming cruise missile, and fed that deceptive information to the Iranians.
Reminded of same thing happening in Syria, a year or so ago, where Israeli jets bombed military sites in Syria and Syrian ground to air missiles hit a Russian military radar plane by mistake because Israel has such jamming devices.

The plane was just lifting off, the radar tracks did not change, even if it were possible to fool a radar in the way you suggest how could an Israeli plane get close enough to Tehran to do it without being detected and shot down itself?

The stealth technology has existed for years. Next gen too.
No such stealth aircraft exists capable of such a mission and even if it did, having to overfly so much hostile territory and the required low levels would make it visible to the eye and via heat signature due to it’s engines.
The Rivet lacks that capability and only the US and UK are flying them, the Israelis have no stealth aircraft of their own.

I didn’t ever provide a version of bulldozing. But there could be a number of explanations. It just seems prudent to me that Iran would conduct their own investigation.
