Surprised that Iran has admitted this so quickly. It does seem this was a tragic error.
American is not to blame, Trump is not to blame. You cannot even blame the Iranian government though of course they ultimately have to take responsibility.

One feasible explanation is a fly-by by a US Stealth plane, provoking an Iranian missile.
Israel pulled a similar trick when Syria shot down a Russian cargo plane.
There were helicopters. There is zero evidence of any gunfire coming from them.
The flashing lights are strobes/running lights.
Learn to read, I never claimed there are no Israeli operatives in Iran. As I’ve said repeatedly they have the best intel network in Iran of any foreign gov’t.
That doesn’t mean they are operating Iran’s ADA.

A first generation F117 that was flying at low level during daytime.
They got lucky and picked up it’s heat signature as it flew by and it had already been spotted and it’s trajectory plotted by the Serbian air controllers.
Except the Iranians have admitted to shoot down the plane.

Posted this earlier in this thread from another source.The cover up was well on it’s way before they admitted to shooting it down.
They would still be covering it up if they thought there was a possibility they could get away with it.
Certainly a very stark contrast to what they were aiming for.
