Fantastic to see so many utility companies declaring no one will be disconnected for non payment.
The charitable response from so many companies, business and government is amazing.
In Ohio those who lose their jobs because of COVID-19 will get unemployment with no waiting periods. I predict more states will take this and similar steps.
No one should have their home repossessed or be evicted because of a financial impact from this situation.

I think the curfew idea, with voluntary self-quarantining, might be a good medium. Just tell everyone to stop going to work and stay inside. But if they are out on the street, don’t arrest them or force them to go home. Just order businesses, excluding grocery stores, to close so that no one really has anything to do…if this thing is actually a thing…and not a political tool to tip the scales of power.
China needs to pay the price! They and only them did this to the rest of the world.

There are too many mouth breathing morons. Martial law is 100% needed and I am behind it to the fullest extent. We need FEMA death camps yesterday! I’m not joking at all. Self quarantine and isolation does not work. People are irresponsible and stupid and are willing to go around inflicting harm upon other people by spreading a deadly pandemic. They have forfeited their freedom.

It came from Wuhan and it is probably a bioweapon…of course, they’ll never admit that it is a bioweapon ever- even if very good evidence for that eventually comes out somewhere down the line… They’ve already preempted that already now by calling anyone who even utters this possibility a “conspiracy theorist” who is “indoctrinated (or disinformed) by” Russia (and/or China).

Well regardless if it is or isn’t a Bio-weapon, it still came from that lab, and no where else, which means the responsibility of this outbreak is solely on them, despite their BS propagandist lies such as trying to blame the US for it.

So I received a message from the government earlier (France), about what to do during the coronavirus epidemic.
Everything that is not necessary to the functioning of the country and are places where people gather are closing down. Restaurants, schools… There were the municipal elections on Sunday, but that’s all. Massive gatherings are banned. People are encouraged to work from home if possible. Tobacco shops are hilariously allowed to operate, because French people would literally riot if it wasn’t the case.
So I say, thank you Corona-chan !

I hope it’s not going to wreck our economy too much though. Some people are gonna lose their jobs/companies, definitely. Macron is actually trying to mitigate the effects but I don’t really place a high-trust on the government’s efficiency in doing anything, tbh. I hope people can be compensated (especially restaurants) for the downtime.
