There is a view that Black Death was introduced purposely in Europe to wipe out Christians, which could be accomplished easily by infecting the wells. It’s not written in school textbooks as such, but it needs more investigation.
Spanish flu disappeared without a trace once the medical community stopped vaccinating people. (Most death tolls came from soldiers on both sides of WWI who had been vaccinated). And it had nothing to do with Spain.
And we know where Covid 19 originally came from. (It ain’t Wuhan)

Yep. Keep them in constant fear.
Covid 19 is just another cold. Better not to catch it, but if you do, it’s really just an inconvenience for a few days.
On the other hand, I can’t imagine what it was like to be in Europe when 1/3 or even 1/2 of your neighbors, friends and family were dying of Black Death.
Lack of knowledge.
But who had the knowledge about the plague? People who were familiar with Central Asia.
Concerned citizen makes Shashta County officials sh*t their pants in anti-lockdown speech. People are sick of the tyranny.
