That looks kinda like the Macarthur maze after the '89 quake. The maze is a short distance from the pancaked 880 freeway in Oakland.
Even though, gas at the pump is such a bargain these days, it isnāt going to stay long. I am sure once the lockdown has been lifted in many of the states, as Coronavirus makes its exit, we will see some what normal prices - National average: $2.15/gal.
The Oil commodity market is still taking another hit today. But not as severe as it was yesterday.
Where I live, it is so cheapā¦the last time it was this cheap was during the Clinton Administration.
I was reading yesterday where a blogger asserted that the age of the Petro dollar is officially over. Got me thinking what the financial markets are going to look like once things get rolling again. Itās hard to ignore the entire world economy has been reset.
That is what Trump is doingā¦at least, he is hoping for everyone to go back to workā¦buy American products. And get this economy rolling! As for the Oilā¦
From what I read and heard today, they were saying the meeting on Monday broke down. I guessed, they didnāt come to any agreements. And the result of that, was it went negative for the time ever - the oil prices.
Crude is still in negative, last time I checked.
I say it maybe good for the consumers - but overall, it is bad. People need fuel to recharge their Tesla carsā¦
But seriously, that is why we should be fracking. Unless, Trump lifted thatā¦from the Obama Administrationā¦that is what we should be doing.
As well, as working on the Keystone Pipeline.
Sure, but Oil is only one part of the larger aggregate of commerce between nations. If we take into account how many nations are connected to China in terms of trade then given what we now know, the reset of the global economy is not going to return to same status quo as before, itās going to be vastly different.
China vs U.S. would be devastating for both countries.
That would mean, we would also be fighting North Korea, Iran, Russia and probably other Middle East countries.
Even though, we would be back by the U.K. South Korea, Israel and maybe Australia.
I could be wrong.
No I donāt think so. Its not going to be that kind of war. In fact we are already in a war with China. Remember the USS Fitzgerald? That was China in retaliation to Trump firing off missiles in Syria while Xi was eating cake at Mara Largo.
The real war would and should be in the hand of the native Chinese
Yes. I agree, but whether they have the stomach to do so remains to be seen. But as we are seeing in the US, when peopleās ability to earn a living is taken from them by oppressive governments then the Native population stirs into unrest. How will this new generation deal with the economic fallout created by their own government?
Doubt it. Even with a collapsing country like Venezuela, with a figurehead and USā support, they are at a standstill. Most domesticated animals donāt want to be free.
What can citizens of a country who have been disarmed do?
Use their heads, of course
Donāt even think about it because weāll lose. We might have the hardware but they have the nous?
Youāre not wrong, especially when you suggest that Russia will join the party.
Love how the recent bailouts are all focused on āsmall businesses.ā
Trumpbux was a huge PR win and now they stop doing what worked.
We have already lost over 22 million jobs - loans to employers arenāt helping those people while no one is hiring.
I am seeing a trend here that will probably last for another month. But I am sure it will start to taper off in the Fall. Give or take.
