Let them promote the biggest left wing judge, it will force the conservative justices to make a hard turn to the right on every case.
As a garden-variety commercial litigator, I’d settle for someone who was in a basic private-sector law practice for a while. I think pretty much everyone on the Court now except for Sotomayor is a product of the elite-law-school-to-elite-government-job revolving door.
I think Ann coulter should either be on the supreme court or she should play a major role in the next administration

I don’t know who “Ann Culture” is but your post makes me glad that the average American can’t vote for Supreme Court justices. Our elections are in enough trouble.

The problem is, the Dems go harder left than the GOP goes right (except perhaps Coney Barrett - that was pretty far right). They will push through a Black Sotomayor clone (though with the requisite pedigree from Hahvahd) who harbors a deep animosity for all non Blacks.

The administration is currently considering a well educated and accomplished woman who spent a great many years as a public defender.
Seems like a wise choice to me…and a break from the norm.

I don’t see race or gender as the sole basis by which the Biden Administration is making a nomination. They are considering highly qualified candidates and working hard to ensure that the Supreme Court looks like America of the 21st century - and not the predominantly white version of America that died long ago.
