It is interesting that they don’t look into low tax states. Especially given the exodus from NY to low tax states.
It wasn’t but a few years ago that also eone in New York was running ads (in Texas) touting deals on taxes for companies to move there. At the time I recall pointing out, probably in a song parody, that after 10 years those that did would be caught as the deals ran out.
I often wonder about business decisions.
My thoughts. It’s a liberal business run but a liberal.

If they established a 2nd headquarters in Texas, would it outrage liberals enough to boycott Amazon? a serious possibility.
The best course to not offend would be the current course, no second headquarters regardless of potential savings.
