I am way the heck right of Atilla the Hun, but plastic is a problem pollutant since it takes so long to degrade. Paper was (and is) simple and logical. Easy to find plastic stuff from the 70’s and 80’s where they should not be, paper bags are long since compost.
Besides, other than melting all of the “free plastic”, that we consumers get, down into free fuel (am I the only one to think of this?) what the heck do we do with all the plastic? Recycling is fraught with lies.
