After reading this story the dots being connect appears to be plausible given that Harris and Booker’s penchant for the dramatics and staging optics their past behaviours would support this story as possibility being true!

It is noteworthy that both, Harris and Booker released separate statements condemning Smollet’s attack using the following identical language “an attempted modern-day lynching”

I have a hard time believing Harris or Booker would be in on this. It was too amateurish and poorly thought out. I doubt they’d want to risk their careers over this.
I think a more likely scenario is Jussie was looking for the kudo’s he’d get from the Booker and Harris and thought he would take a step forward on the political friends in high places ladder.
It’s not that difficult to believe. Harris is related to him. Smollett faked his hate crime in order to help Booker and Harris to pass an anti-hate crime bill. The bill must not have been strong enough to pass on its own merits, so fraud was required to tilt the scale. The fraud proves the bill was fraudulent as well. They are the corrupt ones and belong in jail along with lying Jussie.
