The remaining Republicans who are not part of McConnell’s secret 15, support the Presidents policies. That also includes a few Democrats as well. Immigration, Military R&D, the Wars in Afghanistan, Syria, trade with China, are all connected that paints a broader picture in what Trump is trying to accomplish!

From what I understand, he has already committed perjury once, so the stakes are getting higher when the optics of a double standard is becoming more apparent to the public such as in the cases of Michael Cohen, and Michael Flynn who are going to jail for lying to congress, and the FBI while Brennen continues to walk free. This is not a good look for public trust for the institutions that is suppose to be impartial for all.
You are right, he has been able to cover his tracks and probably still has some deep throat alliances still on the inside that are aiding him to remain insulated, but eventually his credit card is going to maxed out and he will have to answer for his debt.
I suspect Comey, Brennen, Powers, Rice, Yates, Strzok, McCabe, Rhoads, are the lower hanging fruit that will be looked at more judiciously and implicated in the coming weeks and months ahead.
