Why do you think Iran was attacking the US? I have no problem with Trump assassinating a terrorist leader, but he has no right to assassinate the legit leader of another country’s military, any more than any leader of another country has to assassinate a big cheese from the Pentagon.
Because just as has been their FP from 78 onward they wish to destablilize the entire region and eventually have their brand of Islamic Extremism become the world’s only religion.

In WWII for example we went out of our way to attempt to assassinate the most dangerous generals/admirals of both the German and Japanese finally succeeding in killing Yamamoto.
