Meta (Face book) to End Fact Checking Program

Mark Zuckerberg just recently announced major changes to all social media platforms associated with Meta. Facebook, Threads, Whatsapp, Instagram to name a few. Apparently Mark Zuckerberg thought it was a good idea to become a free speech advocate in advance of Trump taking office.

Meta’s drastic metamorphosis actions this week:

  1. Nick Clegg, Meta’s top censorship officer, resigned
  2. Joel Kaplan, a conservative who crusaded on less censorship, replaced Nick Clegg
  3. Dana White added to Meta board of directors
  4. Fact-checkers disbanded
  5. Algos opened

Mike Benz breaks it down.

Here is Mark Zuckerberg in his own words annoucing his plans for the changes he intends to make!

I think Zuckerberg realises that X is making more inroads on market share for Free speech than his previous predecessors. He lost trust a long time ago too.

I don’t trust Zucker either, and this could be a boot licker move on his part.

It’s definitely a boot licker move, IMO.

What really kills me about Zucker is that he could have threatened the Brazilian Government to pull out his apps when they were threatening Musk by banning “X”. Had he done that then Musk would have won. Zucker is a spineless sellout who is only trying to weasel is way back to gaining conservative voters trust again. The ship has sailed IMO.
