2022 is getting off to an auspicious start with ADP Payrolls, the nation’s largest private sector payroll providing service, releases data from January showing a drop of 301,000 jobs.
These employment numbers just don’t align with an economy growing at 6.9%, as measured by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). However the ordinary people who have been seeing steady price increases for things like bread, milk, meat and poultry items through much of last year and continuing this year as well are probably not surprised by this news.
Every sector in the employment index has been hit, and the fact that every news media pundit was caught off guard with this unexpected news can only use words like “shocked”, “unexpected” and “surprised, as their guarded responses. Business and financial wires are having a severe melt down with this latest reporting and folks it continues to get worse as we head into the second year under this administrations job killing policies and fake pandemic narratives.
