Magog you have been very patient with replying to questions and you seem to know pretty much about physics so why don’t we cut to the chase and YOU tell everyone exactly what it would take a demolition Company to bring down the World trade center into its own footprint in virtual free-fall in the same amount of time as both towers did.
If you are HONEST and up to snuff you will know that ANY uncompromised floors below what you describe would have impeded the 'free-fall" and added time to the total collapse, and you would also have to answer why those intact floor would not deviate the path of falling debris so that it did NOT fall in its own footprint.
Keep in mind that the initial blasts from the planes hitting was enough to shatter windows in all the buildings in the area. So your missing glass ejections are no proof at all that it wasn’t aided in some way. remember the conspiracy is that this was meant to look like planes did it.
I would really like to hear from you what it would take to (professionally) duplicate what we saw on September 11th, 2001. I say it can’t be done without perfectly timed blast to shear key areas all the way down the building for it to fall as fast as it did. I think we already have testimony to the collapse rate being “unimpeded”

The WTC was 110 stories and just under 1370ft tall. From some random internet source, I got that the towers were damaged by the airliner strikes: North Tower: From 92 to 98 South Tower: 78 to 84. So the median of that is 88th floor.
How high is the 88th floor?
110/88 = 1370/H (Where H is the sought height)
H = 1370*(88/110) = 1096ft
So how long does it take (a frictionless freefall lead ball) to fall 1000 feet (H) since we know that the top ended up above ground level?
g is the acceleration (note that it continually speeds up!) at 9.8m/s^2 = 32.15ft/s^2
The formula is: t = (SquareRoot( 2*H/g))
Solving for a frictionless object in freefall, the fall time would be 7.88seconds.
Now isn’t that a coincidence!!! Mark me down as SHOCKED!

Again, I had no idea what the answer was going to be when I started this post, I just worked through it as presented, and let the answer unveil itself. I picked the median damaged floor as an average floor that was damaged by the strike, no other reason. To my knowledge, we have no idea which floor failed first in either building, nor what building the previously referenced “8 seconds” was timed from, so 88 is as good an estimate as I need for sledgehammer installation of a “hunting license” (it’s a Physics thing…) estimate.
From my experience with real-world processes, I would have expected a number more like 10-15s for the towers to crash. Gravity is an harsh teacher.

The fires in 1 and 2 were started bc they were hit by planes - 7 wasn’t so what caused the fires there??

There has never ever been an example of buildings collapsing bc of fire but on 911 3 fell at freefall - how so?
