Twenty years ago, it was the Republicans invading countries. Most of the mainstream Democrats went along with it, of course, but there were a significant number of ‘Progressives’ who opposed these wars.
Now things seem to have turned upside down. It’s the Democrats who are beating the war drums. Which is particularly insane, given their huge fiasco in Afghanistan, and their turning the US military into a Woke Social Justice laboratory. We’d better not go head-to-head with a real enemy.
The war in Ukraine is a battle between the good and the evil. No doubt about it.
Majority of people, however, got it wrong.
