Since January 20, 2017, he has served as the commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. On April 7, 2019, President Trump announced McAleenan would serve as Acting Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security

So Trump fired Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen (a good move - she was garbage) and replaces her with CBP commissioner Mcaleenan - the same Border Patrol commissioner who has overseen the largest 2 months of illegal immigration into America in our nation’s history.
Mcaleenan failed the CBP. How can he win at Homeland Security?
