Joe knocks it out of the ball park again Producer Price Index (PPI), which measures inflation at the wholesale level, rose 8.6% year-over-year as of October

The Producer Price Index (PPI), which measures inflation at the wholesale level, rose 8.6% year-over-year as of October, growing at a record rate for a second straight month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced Thursday.

BLS reportedThursday that the PPI, which measures inflation before it hits consumers, grew 0.6% in October, in line with Dow Jones estimates, highlighting that inflationary pressure is still strong.

Over 60% of the month-over-month increase in producer prices resulted from a 1.2% spike in the price of goods rather than services, BLS reported. Goods prices rose 1.2% in October compared to a 0.2% increase in the cost of services. (RELATED: Fed Official Sees Inflation Slowing In 2022)

The spike in wholesale inflation was driven by surging gasoline prices, which grew 6.7% and represented one-third of the increase in goods prices in October.

The PPI grew 0.4% month-over-month when stripping out food, trade and energy prices.

The PPI report is one of two key inflation indicators released this week. BLS is scheduled to release the October consumer price index Wednesday morning, which is expected to have increased 0.6% in October, reflecting a 5.9% annual gain, CNBC reported.

The median consumer expectation, a key inflation indicator released by the New York Federal Reserve, showed an expected 5.7% spike in inflation over the next year, the greatest expected increase reported since the metric was created in 2013.

Interesting times.

The Fed reserve is buying 160 billion a month in treasuries as the treasury can’t sell them. They hold 8.5 trillion in assets.
The Fed normally would be raising interest rates however Powell really wants more time as in charge.

What could possibly go wrong as the morons in DC just signed another trillion in spending.

We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within…” I distinctly remember thinking at my tender age, “That will never happen.” And now I am horrified to see Khrushchev’s words coming true.

SOMEBODY in SOME way HAS to STOP them.

Just in:

Who would have thought that throwing more money into the economy will fix inflation.

President Biden said the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed in the House of Representatives on Friday will lower the price of consumer goods, in a speech at the Baltimore port on Wednesday.

“Along with other plans that I’m advancing, this bill is going to reduce the cost of goods to consumers, businesses, and get people back to work, helping us build an economy . . . where everybody’s better off,” Biden said.

The $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill allocates $550 billion in new spending over five years toward roads, bridges, railroads, broadband Internet, and other projects.

The remarks come after the Labor Department announced that the consumer price index increased 6.2 percent from the previous year, the highest increase in 31 years. The consumer price index also rose 0.9 from the previous month.

Biden attributed the high inflation to supply-chain issues stemming from fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, coupled with high consumer demand.

“My administration has a plan to finish the job of getting us back to normal from the pandemic, and having a stronger economy than we’ve ever had before,” Biden insisted. However, the president noted that “everything from a gallon of gas to a loaf of bread costs more.”

“Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?” Biden said, acknowledging that Americans are paying $4.50 for a gallon of gas in some parts of the U.S.

Fuel prices throughout the U.S. rose 12.3 percent from the previous month and 59.1 percent over the previous year. Additionally, food prices rose 0.9 percent from the previous month and 5.4 percent from the previous year.

He has a plan, no idea what it is but it sounds great for the minions.

Just because there’s people that hold different values or ideologies than you do does not mean they don’t love their country….

Nobody’s going to leave, there’s either going to be compromise or endless strife and fighting…

Do you recall when Donald Trump criticized congresses plan to give Americans $600.00 in Covid relief funds arguing he wanted Americans to get $2,500.00 instead??? Imagine had he had his way where inflation would be now….

Btw, inflation is high all around the world….It’s global.

Umm the issue was the extension… did you forget about the extension ?

The Dems have payed people to stay home, and now they want to pay women to pop out kids, like the old Welfare ABC system. They also want to make the lawsuit lotteria even largerthrough Darth Sith’s DOJ (you have to admit, the resemblance is uncanny).
Biden’s millennial caretakers don’t care what they do to buy votes, but the public does. If Manchin steels himself to vote no on the BBB monstrosity, we’ll have a chance to change the houses in 11/22.

Price of things going up?

A friend of mine who works in retail sent these to me recently to demonstrate how the average consumer is feeling the pinch at a much faster rate of inflation then ever before.

Just a few examples

Yet people are fairly quiet about the inflation we experience today.

Or is the media suppressing, not reporting the reaction we are all experiencing today?

Of course they are suppressing it, they are in the tank not only with the deep state, but must do everything possible to insure Biden’s image remains favorable to the narratives they are told to manufacture. Its far worse then most of the public knows and that is putting it mildly.

IMHO, they are doing this on purpose in order to weaken our country. What the end game is, is something I have many theories on but can probably throw a dart somewhere on the board of a list of things and you’d probably end being more right than wrong at this point with where that dart would land. Just to think we have another 2.5 years of this nonsense to endure and a lot of things could happen before the next election cycle. So many things doesn’t begin to explain the anxieties that most reasonable people who care about our country feel and fear.

I the beginning inflation was centered around gasoline. Today it’s broad based as people continue to spend the free money given by the administration. The Federal reserve will do little until after Powell is given a new term. Perhaps 2nd quarter the Fed will step in and begin the task of raising interest rates.

The Fed is in a lose, lose situation.

The “Fed no longer has control of Money Supply growth which means they won’t have control of inflation either. The money give away passed by law will continue even with higher interest rates.
The U.S. money supply has grown 20% from $15.33 trillion at the end of 2019 to $18.3 trillion at the end of July. That will continue to grow as the administration continues to spend massive amounts of money.
