Joe Biden Deflects Questions From The Press, Stays Silent On Criminal Investigation Of Hunter Biden

You missed the most important aspects of my post. And I haven’t seen anything other than accusations that China plans to block global shipping access to the SCS, its natural resources and forward posts they are after for national security.

You have not seen any of those posts made by me.
However it is possible to find images of construction of islands which can then be claimed as ‘sovereign’ and used as a convenient jurisdiction claiming point.

China claims almost all of the South China Sea, and since 2014 has built up tiny reefs and sandbars into man-made artificial islands heavily fortified with missiles, runways and weapons systems .

I’m well aware of what China is doing there, not unlike similar measures taken by the US and UK in history. For example, when the US decided that the Hawaiian islands would make a strategic territory in our expanding interests we annexed it. Just as we incited a war with Mexico to expand the United States to the Pacific Ocean and incited a war with Spain to annex Guam for a forward operating base for future conflicts…

It’s always ok when we do it and aggression when someone else does it…

I wouldn’t expect that you ever pay any attention to our Pentagons annual reports to congress on the growing military threat that China poses to US domination of the seas. China fully expects a challenge from the US at some point and they aim to keep US carriers far enough away from their mainland to prevent an air attack from them.

There has however been nothing to indicate that China intends on interrupting maritime traffic through the sea.

And you will indeed…

This is typical of leftists’ thinking: The US is an inciter of aggression, whereas China is really not so bad.

Why am I not surprised?

Yes, about the only two things he ever says about Hunter are (1) that he is “proud” of him; and (2) that he is “confident” of him.

I said that what China is doing is not unlike what the US/UK have done when pursuing their own interests. The point is they’re both ok, or they’re both wrong. You may choose which you think it is…

And what do you expect of a father to say?

I would expect him to be candid–i.e. truthful–and not simply dodge the questions.

These are legitimate questions–not examples of hounding or harassment.

I simply do not agree that the US has pursued a policy of aggression over the years.

So I see no need to adhere to your (false) choice.

Well no and I wouldn’t expect you to, most Americans are apologists for our wrongs but always quick to criticize those of others…

Apparently you have the same double standard. You think our annexation of Guam and Hawaii were not acts of aggression but I suppose you think that Chinas SCS policy is…

He probably shouldn’t be talking about an ongoing FBI investigation…

Well, I see that you look down upon the views of “most Americans.”

Do you suppose, then, that it would be fair to characterize you as an elitist?

I see.

Is that why you believe that he dodged these questions (and in a very rude manner, at that)?

I suppose that it simply could not have had anything to do with the fact that these were most inconvenient questions–questions for which there simply was no good answer…

I look down upon hypocrisy yes…

Lol, after supporting Trump’s presidency, I’m not listening to any complaints about supposed rudeness from anyone else…

And again, if I was Biden, I would not comment on a live FBI investigation. And considering that it’s Hunter, a grown man, I’d refer people to the one who’s being investigated…

But… I thought you were a Lefty???

Social liberal, fiscal conservative…
