If there’s a dispute between China and say the Philippines or Indonesia, then they should go to the international (world) court of justice. Of course the US doesn’t recognize the court’s authority so that’s a bit hypocritical too……

We are obligated to be concerned and give Taiwan the means by which it can defend itself, BUT we are not obligated to come to the direct rescue. We no longer have a treaty obligation with Taiwan. Today’s America under Biden’s cartel is NO different than China’s iron fist approach. They govern by surveillance and dependency.
