I found this guy who is from New Zealand who tours various countries around the world, especially dangerous countries to give a balanced perspective of what it is like! Its pretty cool watching these videos and getting a fascinating look inside one of the worlds most socialistic countries that is curently struggling but in the midst of change with its political turmoil.

I think it also helps that he is from New Zealand too, a sort of Neutral tourist that has no pretense in the countries he visit as being someone they hate.

In the 90s I was backpacking in Belize. Ended up miles into Guatemala; and I was escorted back to the border by the military. That was unnerving.
