We have allowed two things to happen in society that are destroyers of the common ground which is the one and only thing that ties the people together, and they are closely related. First and second; we have failed to enforce the common laws. On one hand, mayors have told police forces to stand down in the face of protests that were clearly beyond free speech. Words have meaning. Speech is a particular thing that has upper and lower limits. We need to have the upper and lower limits specifically delineated, and we need to clear up why some people’s right to free speech can be eliminated by other people in the places that have replaced the town square of 1776. Not allowing people to speak their mind in the town square is a violation of the spirit and letter of our law. Allowing private companies in public COMMUNICATION commerce to shut down speech/communication by their customers violates the spirit of our Constitution and if it had been thought possible in '76, it would have been addressed the way it should be addressed now. If someone had suggested in 1776 that a person standing in front of the bakery store on the town square could be forbidden free speech by the bakery store owner, they would have cleared that up in a hurry; by the same token, if someone had suggested that the bakery store had to have its windows broken before someone “protesting” some issue related or unrelated to the bakery store before the mayor took action; again, the issue would have been addressed in writing at that time and we don’t have to dither about which way the pendulum would have swung: The bakery store forfeits its right to silence/control the behavior of people when they are in a position that is shared with the public square. Want more control? Get off the public square. Any company LICENSED BY THE GOVT to use the communication channels of the United States forfeits its right to control its used parts of the public square, all of which public square is co-owned by the PEOPLE of the United States; Not the govt; Not the licensee; Not just one portion of the people: all of the people.
The very same people who tell you a baker who objects to gay marriage is required to make a cake with depictions on it that they have moral objection to, but which the baker can’t speak freely of his complaint online is a oxymoron.
On the other hand , the common laws are not enforced to limit the free speech of protestors when it gets in the face of bystanders, or lights fires, or breaks windows or loots businesses. Clearly, there are limits and the city officials let it go far and away beyond speech, which still has a definition, NOT different than the situation above, clearly having upper and lower limits.
Marijuana used to have a definition. It was deemed permissible because low-life legislators wanted to get in on the action of collecting more usurious taxes possible on vices, and here was another just waiting to pour money into their pockets to be pissed away, too. So, rather than spending money on enforcement, allow stupid people another bad habit. So, without any limitations on chemical assay, look the other way. The growers “improved” the product in a trade war to raise THC levels and the products are four time as strong as the old days. Once again, govt gets in the way of good; protects bad; limits goods; takes limits off bad, same old same old.

As part of the Trump 2024 agenda, he needs to make it clear that if elected he will direct all US legal assets to arrest & deport all aliens who have not been cleared for residence by the NORMAL process of entry or residence. Any alien who has entered the USA via extra-legal permissions issued of/by/in/under any nomenclature during the Biden administration will be declared persona non gratia and that Biden administration temporary or any other nomenclature permission null & void, failing to meet the standard of protecting the American public first and foremost. Any alien who is caught will be deported and automatically placed at the back of the line. The back of the line shall be defined as starting at the point at which all people in line on January 21st, 2025 have succeeded in passing through the entire process from 1st application through the entire period of investigation and otherwise qualifying for and being granted alien resident and then becoming an American citizen, or having been removed from the list via disqualification.
Any aliens that remove themselves before being caught and deported at the behest, effort and/or expense of the USA may apply from their own country of residence and be placed upon on the list without prejudice as normal at the time of application.
All US law enforcement and/or public safety officers may apply to be deputized as an associate Immigration Officer and act in that capacity to stop any person in the USA, investigate their legal status, and arrest and detain anyone who cannot prove legal appropriate status. A bounty may be set at the President’s discretion and paid to these Officers for each capture and delivery to authorities of an illegal alien. These Deputies shall serve at the pleasure of the President.
The US Army should be used to man highway approaches that funnel traffic to road blocks in those areas with larger populations of illegal aliens to address the problem until such time as the illegal alien population is reduced to a level that yields too few to justify use of roadblocks.
Employers should be fined an amount equal to the total wages paid to illegal aliens without USA issued green cards.
We need to have an “All of the above” policy to find, arrest and deport those that have not entered the USA via acceptable means. The US authorities need to track down the coyotes and cartels that facilitated the movement of illegals, including destroying the headquarters and killing members collecting fees for trafficked humans. If the Mexican govt does not cooperate with arresting and imprisoning these people the USA should reserve the right to hunt down and kill these traffickers, including use of missiles destroying their remote compounds.

That’s not going to happen; AIPAC is an American lobbyist representing the interests of Americans and Israelis who are pro-Israel. It doesn’t matter how much Israeli citizens’ interest have in it; it’s plainly lobbying for the Interests of Israel. That’s all that’s required: a plain statement of “In whose interest” are the activities being preformed. Where the money comes from may or may not be important or of interest.

The Netflix documentary 'Wormwood" is based on a Chemical engineer working for the US Army at Fort Detrich who was part of a secret bioweapons project that the CIA and the DOD were experimenting with during the Korean war. When he found out that innocent civilians were being targeted he became conflicted and started asking questions. This also happened during the CIA’s MK-Ultra program to which he was drugged and thrown out of a 13 story hotel window in order to silence him.

Thank you for your serious consideration of the complex situation at hand. Not everyone is capable of your level of thinking, but I’m sure you already know that. Most people are only able to string a couple dozen inane words together at a single sitting, and then go back to the fridge for another beer.
Govts are brought down by chaos that follows “demonstrations”. Is the US too big for that to happen? Was the USSR too big to fail in 1987? How many times has the Brazilian Govt fallen? Too many to count. Edmund Burke should be the most quoted man in the news for some time because that’ where we’re going. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. …” The anti-Israeli protestors are anti-American and the sooner they are put down, the better. They are children, with the uneducated, impressionable minds of children, and they feel they have nothing to lose by acting up. BLM got away with it, why shouldn’t they? His saboteurs can cause power problems during the storms while ship-full’s of Marines close in and air-cover remains at ready only 100 miles away. It will be easier than the US secretly springing on Cuba because the CCP will hold nothing back and no target will be spared as too costly from civilian deaths. The entire war can be over in one day.

Taiwan is no more a part of China than Canada is part of the US, and the two situations of original national origin are similar: Taiwan was the fall-back headquarters of Chang Kai Shek in his fight against the commies. The America Revolutionary forces tried to chase the British out of Canada and lost. The Canadians stayed as a Brit colony and the rest is history. The racial and ethnic differences between Taiwan & China are the same as those of Canada and the US.
The differences between North & South Korea, North & South Vietnam, Russia & Ukraine are just the same as China & Taiwan: Commies want the other territory and the first order of business is demanding possession. The second order of business is exerting enough force to get it.

Many in the media have blamed Venezuela’s worsening humanitarian crisis on corruption, mismanagement, falling oil prices, or U.S sanctions—anything but the rise of socialism in what was once the wealthiest country in South America.
Yet corruption and mismanagement were the direct result of increased government control of the economy—socialism—and in reality, lower oil prices and U.S. sanctions have little to do with the crisis. Instead, the mass starvation and exodus faced by Venezuelans are the natural consequence of the socialist policies implemented by dictators Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro.
There are three main policies implemented by Chavez since 1999 that produced the current crisis: Widespread nationalization of private industry, currency and price controls, and the fiscally irresponsible expansion of welfare programs.
One of Chavez’s first actions was to start nationalizing the agriculture sector, supposedly reducing poverty and inequality by taking from rich landowners to give to poor workers. From 1999 to 2016, his regime robbed more than 6 million hectares of land from its rightful owners.
Nationalization destroyed production in affected industries because no government has the capacity to run thousands of businesses or the profit motive to run them efficiently. Instead, government officials face incentives to please voters by selling products at low prices and hiring more employees than necessary, even when that’s the wrong industry decision.
The socialist regime also implemented price ceilings on hundreds of basic products such as beef, milk and toilet paper. At artificially low prices, more people were willing to buy these products but the few private factories left—not nationalized—could not profit at the government-capped price, so they reduced or halted their production. Instead of benefiting the poor, price ceilings predictably resulted in shortages that forced them to stand in lines for hours, while supermarket employees and the well-connected obtained the products they needed.
But perhaps the most harmful part of the Venezuelan socialist project is the part that the international media and leftist figures used to praise most frequently: welfare programs. The socialist regime created social “missions” aimed at tackling poverty, illiteracy, healthcare, and more. But despite enjoying higher government oil revenues due to a tenfold rise in oil prices from $10 a barrel in 1999 to more than $100 in 2008, the regime financed a growing deficit by printing more currency. Expansive welfare programs and massive public-works projects provided ever-growing opportunities for still greater corruption. Printing money to pay for endless state programs unsurprisingly led to high rates of inflation.
