If Trump wins, we need to outlaw Marxism/Communism/Socialism, and a hundred other bad things

Dilemma?
We know who the criminals are.

Start at the top Bidenā€™s 10% ! Dump every congressmen and senator that doesnā€™t agree with deporting ALL illegals . No pay for senators and congressmen until we have a budget that REDUCES our deficit ! Stop paying ALL senators and congressmen for not growing crops they are not farmers and shouldnā€™t be paid . Revamp the FB I , CIA , DOJ , IRS ,border patrol , NSA ,and EPA . For starters ā€¦

Who shall bell the cat? Who has the authority to do these things? Congress. Working farms that have land taken out of production and put in Land Bank are paid not to produce to insure that we have such land in the event of catastrophe elsewhere. For instance, if dustbowl conditions reappear in the central plains, weā€™ll all be happier there is available arable land in Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, Minnesota, and ect. We donā€™t know if, or where, or why a problem can happen, but we will still need to eat. That doesnā€™t happen on its own. Do the Doctors that own clinics actually practice there while in Congress? Should they be forced to shut them down?

We have a problem built into our system, as do all forms of govt, everywhere. If you have a yang, you give up the yin. The Congress (each House, separately and individually) make their own operating/governing rules. Originally, the King made the rules for the Parliament, as well as appointed the judges and Sheriff. The Founders wanted to circumvent outsider control of the law making body. It has evolved into a life-time endeavor for those who get elected once, and therein lays the rub. The only solution, or partial solution is term limits. The problem with that is that each of the several states have any control over who and how their own representatives are chosen, and for how long they may stay. If only some states impose term limits, then they lose out to the seniority system in the Houses, itā€™s all or none, and many Dem states say never happen.

We all agree that the cat is a problem and he couldnā€™t sneak up on us if he had a bell around his neck, but who shall bell the cat?

Iā€™m on board with all of that, butā€¦ how???.. and how many years/generations to see it to fruition???

Thatā€™s where ā€œterm limitsā€ come in.
If politicians do not worry about getting re-elected, they will be doing the right thing, instead of trying to get more votes.

No. The President.

Exactly. The two-party system.

When asked how do you eat an elephant , itā€™s 1 bite at a time !!!

Canā€™t do crap without Congress and the senateā€™s approval !

I agree, butā€¦ how do we make term limits happen? These fucks in Congress sure wonā€™t vote them in. Where does that leave us?

I donā€™t have the answers because I was never involved in politics.

But one thing you could do is to make the ā€œprofessionā€ of politics, or being politicians, unattractive. (Make lobbying a felony, for example).

Meaning, no pay for politicians.

Make politicians, lawyers and doctors poor. Only those with good intentions will continue.

These are all difficult to practice, but first steps must be taken somewhere. Get rid of ---- from these fields.

Not close. I told you the system, and Congress can & will get their back up if anyone tries to stick their nose under their tent. The President could call for an amendment to the Constitution which could be passed by a supermajority of House & Senate, then by a Ā¾ vote in the legislatures of Ā¾ of the states. You can imagine that could take some time, BUT if Trump has the House & Senate, perhaps. The faster it moves thru the system, the more pressure on naysayers to go along. You can probably think a large number of opponents that would work against passage. When you start talking about putting politicians out on the street after spending near-lifetimes in cushiony positions of having bootlickers following them around for 20 or 30 or 40 years, you get resistance. And remember, every time tough legislation comes around some odd people who you were sure were honorable turn coat and suddenly theyā€™re against it because of some chickenshit item? Well, kiddies, thatā€™s an example of that blacklist held by the 3-letter intelligence agencies. ā€¦ā€Remember that incident in the little boys room Senator? Weā€™d like you to reconsiderā€¦ā€ People who conduct themselves as though they are above the law sometimes do whatever they want and dare the little people to make trouble. There is a substantial wing of 3-letter agencies that have the goods on lots of rotten apples and will always have that extra ace up their sleeve. When you play poker with them theyā€™re dealing from a deck with 7 aces.

Yea, but that still leaves the ā€˜howā€™ to do it in play.

Yeah, the 3 party system works how well? Or the 17 party system like Italy? People are the problem no matter how they are organized. The more people, the more problems. We tried to reduce the number of people by having a republic, and that is better than pure democracy, but still people. All the people you see when driving; of every description, doing their thing? Thatā€™s how they vote.

Agreed. There should be no partiesā€¦ only ā€˜peopleā€™ running on their own platform. That alone would alleviate a lot of the divisive bullshit that is killing this country.

I donā€™t know how you enforce that. Or if itā€™s ever been tried?

How about no retirement pay? But that would would leave politics to the rich, an aristocracy?

Well, in a way it is a recipe for chaos.
Nonetheless, people will know politics sucks.

In the US, believe it or not, many Americans believe the US is the greatest democracy / country on earth.

Goethe said: The best slave is he who thinks he is free.

Niemand ist mehr Sklave, als der sich fĆ¼r frei hƤlt, ohne es zu sein.
ā€•Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

(Literal translation: Nobody is more of a slave than someone who considers himself free, without being so.)

As far as I know, it has never been tried. It just makes sense to me that parties should be eliminated and only people with their own ideas for government and how things should be done/run should stand on their own merit.

Politcal ā€œpartiesā€ are just a device, conveniece when the whole population cannot meet under the same roof due to population size.

It was possible in ancient Greek cities where the population was small and eligible people excluded drunkards, slaves and women.

In Iceland, it may not be impossible where the population is highly literate and people debate politics in earnest.

In America, itā€™s the way around: The population is dumbed down and many are illiterate, watching TV all the time, and they let women and slaves (mental or otherwise) participate in voting.

Poltical parties in many countries are either meaningless, as in North Korea and the US, or have the minds of their own contrary to the needs of the people.

OK, Iā€™ll play; name better.

North Koreans beat it to the Americans. North Koreans think their country is paradise on earth.
