How to take on Iran

Well that’s a joke. Hezbollah and Hamas will launch thousands of Missiles against Israel no matter what we do.

Israel is more than ready and willing to deal with them if they do.

He certainly won’t and is not obligated to. What he likely will do is inform them ahead of time so they’ll be prepared to respond as needed.

Exactly and very well put. A nation that is not free to act in it’s own interests has given up it’s sovereignty to a superior power.

That is one reason for GB’s heading for the BR EXIT sign.

Exactly so - what do you think AIPAC is all about??

It’s a lobbying group like tens of thousands of others.

I don’t think that you understand the United Nations, the security council and its role, and what a resolution for the use of force is, and why nations, including the United States, utilize them.

Such resolutions of course only get approval of the UN. The UN cannot stop us from acting on our own or in concert with others anytime we choose to.

They cant’ really stop anyone for that matter, they have no army.

Trump is a business man. Not a crazed Zionist.
He knows a war with Iran will devastate the world economy.

He seems to know how to rein in crazies.

No it won’t, but if Iran keeps targeting tankers oil prices go through the roof and that wrecks the world’s major economies in short order just like it did in 2008-09.

It is the free flow of oil at market prices that keeps those economies stable.

Occasionally presidents are belligerent, and do that. Trump has little regard for the historic institutions that the US has been instrumental in creating and participating in so it is possible that unlike most presidents he would not seek a resolution for the use of force anywhere. However, Trump seems to me to not have the stomach for war (one thing that I’m delighted about with him) and that he loves the blustery talk of destruction and obliteration like the world has never seen, but will not be the one delivering it, so it could well be a moot point anyway.

Yeah, I’m becoming increasingly satisfied that Trump loves all the tough talk and having the strongest military at his fingertips. But has no real use for it in reality. He’d rather fall in love with the ayatollah as he did with KJU, as to overthrow his “regime”…

If Iran keeps pushing he will respond with overwhelming, but proportional and reasonable force just like he did in Syria.

He will go as far as necessary to prevent Iran from developing a functional nuke and a way to deliver it.

Even Iraq and Libya fought back and they both had less military capabilities than Iran. I suppose you’ve never read any of the Pentagons annual reports to Congress about such things.

You refer to Bolton/Pompeo???

Has anyone ever suggested it would be a one way conflict?

Now that’s funny enough…

Of course there’s absolutely nothing based in fact to support such a claim.

Why the hateful lie?

For example, he fired General Mattis, didn’t he?
In order to please Zionists, Trump also fired missiles into Syria, but they disappeared in thin air, literally speaking.

It’s amazing there are still folks around who believe it was Iranian “mines” that hit above water line on a Japanese ship.
