How to take on Iran

It’s not a matter of belief, it’s a simple matter of fact. Those facts are thoroughly and completely documented.

It doesn’t, it acts to protect it as it did with Syria.

What exactly has the UN done to protect Syria’s Sovereignty?

I’m going to go with Trump on this one. The gulf of Oman lacks the strategic importance to the US it once had. It’s Japan and China that are moving most of their oil thru it, and I would add that in light of that and the fact that it was a Japanese freighter which was struck, that they should run security in the region themselves.

Not as important as it once was does not equate to unimportant.

Anything that threatens the free flow of oil from the gulf has the potential to throw the oil market into chaos which threatens the economies and stability of every industrialized nation on the planet.

You keep running around here cheering “globalism” well this is globalism on display.

Our economies and thus security is linked to that of every other industrialized nation on earth and thus we have a clear interest in ensuring Iran is not able to control the flow of oil from the region.

Germany is known for its machining…

It was a puzzle how Japan behaved in the last 100 years or so. But now I realize the country became Masonic, meaning it has been run by Masons (in politics, military and industry) since late 19th century.

Japan’s invasion of China in 1930s boggles mind. How you gonna take over a country with a population ten times bigger than yours? I now know that the reason for the invasion was to assist Mao’s communist party to win. The same reasoning applies to the US and Japan sending troops to Siberia immediately after the red revolution to let the Russians rally behind the Bolsheviks, saying “Mother Russia is under attack by foreign forces. Unite!”

Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor was a show, a staged event to give FDR an excuse to join the fray in Europe.

Now, the Japanese government is not fully cooperating with the Zionist propaganda machine by not admitting it was the Iranian mines. See how Israel will react to that.

Clean bombs exist. If there’s one thing the USA is superb at, it’s nuclear weapons. Even hand held ( more or less ). [

The M28/M29 Davy Crockett Nuclear Weapon System - The …

What a legacy. I guess since lagging behind in education, life expectancy, infrastructure, innovation, freedom of the press, infant mortality and a host of other categories, we’ve got to lead in something…

Since it’s our nukes that ended WWII and kept the Russians from taking over all of Europe I’d say yah, that’s a major accomplishment.

Maybe if we spent more time teaching the basics instead of Heather has two mommies and Danny has three daddies we could do a better job of education.

Of course you democrats have had full control of the education system for over thirty years so we know how to address that problem but it’s going to be very painful for the teacher’s unions.

Our infant mortality rate is a reflection of the choices mothers make and of course the high birth rates among illegals so that’s a lame talking point at best.

I don’t think it was a show for Japan, but it certainly provided the bloody nose that FDR needed to reverse American public sentiment.

Even if one were to assume–most gratuitously, I believe–that President Trump cares nothing about the rest of the American people, the simple fact is that becoming embroiled in a war would be a very good way not to get re-elected in 2020.

The only possible exception would be if we first had a national debate as concerning the issue, and a majority of the American people–and, more importantly, a majority of independents–were in favor of going to war.

Donald Trump campaigned, in 2016, on removing America from foreign entanglements. Doing precisely the opposite would really not amount to a good strategy for re-election.

Well, Iran–just yesterday–attacked an American drone. It does not even deny this. Rather, it claims that the drone had wandered into Iranian airspace.

Even if this claim were true–and the US vehemently denies it (although you will probably side with Iran here)–it is an incredibly hostile action to shoot it down. That is the action of an avowed enemy.

So if you still imagine that Iran is not a bad actor–fully capable of mining Japanese and German ships–then you probably cannot be convinced otherwise…

I seriously doubt that Russia will become involved (unless it is behind the scenes, with weapons sales), as that would surely bring the US into the conflict; and neither Russia nor the US desires the start of WWIII.

Correct, they claim the drone was in Iranian airspace. We’ve seen this movie before.

Wrong again, you can dispense with the gratuitous swipes. My point is that we need time, we need investigations, we need other countries to weigh in. A rush to escalations is not prudent. I’m glad Trump called off last nights attacks.

You may not see direct and overt involvement from Russia as in a Russian fighter shooting down an American fighter, but you can bet that Russia will be defending their ally and interests by frustrating US efforts at every turn.

Leaving aside the utter silliness about Russia and China (as if it were really likely that they would be happy to precipitate WWIII), the fact is that President Trump is not attempting “regime change” in Iran. He has said so numerous times.

A reasonable case can be made, I think, that regime change there would be a good idea. And the Iranian people would thoroughly back it, I believe.

But that is apparently not what President Trump has in mind.

And your source for the assertion that Japan “has nukes” would be–what, exactly?

This president will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

And that, irrespective of just what it might require to stop that from happening…
