Google Bans Confederate Flag and Celebrates Communists

Do you really believe that?

Your browsing history is stored in your computer browser (I use Firefox)…until you choose to delete it yourself. It it not stored by DuckDuckGo after you end you search session.

Of course anyone that has access to your computer prior to your deleting your browsing history can see where you went after you searched (assuming you clicked on a site after the search), but DuckDuckGo no longer has your search history and does not forward it to other companies.

It doesn’t matter dude! You can lull your self into believing that, or giving yourself a false sense of security! The data is already collected regardless or whether you decide to delete your history or not! But hey, believe what you want! I am on open source so it doesn’t matter to me!

Why did this thread get rez’d?

Not necessarily.

If I understand DDG correctly they never download information from your computer, the computing based on your search history is actually done on your own computer rather than saving it to a cloud based system.

don’t ask me it just popped up so I replied.
