Okay, I watched this video a few times, and your take is all wrong. This was a weird convergence of people all separated by hundreds of miles and on crappy cameras, cannot hear each other, and the one single dopey Liberal idiot they have on the show somehow got her audio to blaze through and the rest were silent because they could not hear. It was an accidental cluster fuck.
If all those people were in the same room on the same couch like usual, the outcome of that conversation would have been way different. Gingrich would have had the last word for sure, and a couple of those firebrand conservative girls would have slapped down the blond liberal bimbo.
