First lady Jill Biden and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy kick off kids vaccination campaign

First lady Jill Biden and Dr. Vivek Murthy, the surgeon general, will be visiting a children’s vaccination clinic at a school in McLean, Virginia, with historic significance in vaccine delivery.

Franklin Sherman Elementary School was the first school in the nation to give children the polio vaccine in 1954. Jill Biden and Murthy are starting a campaign to get COVID-19 vaccine shots into the arms of children between the ages of 5-11 years of age.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Pfizer’s pediatric vaccine just last week, on November 2.

Jill Biden and Murthy will meet school, county and state leaders, as well as with children who’ve just received the vaccine and their parents. with school, county, and state leaders followed by students who just received the vaccine and their parents. Over the next few weeks, Mrs. Biden will be visiting other COVID-19 vaccination clinics at schools, hospitals and other community sites in an effort to encourage more places to offer vaccines to children in their community.

In addition to the first lady’s efforts, on Monday, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona sent a “Dear Colleague” letter to school superintendents and elementary school principals across the nation to take steps to encourage children vaccinations, like holding vaccination clinics at schools, hosting community conversations with pediatricians about the importance of vaccinations for children and to answer parents’ questions about the vaccine, and providing parents with trusted information about the vaccine.

The Biden administration is also encouraging districts across the country to set up vaccine clinics at schools with their American Rescue Plan funds to help get these clinics up and running, and by using providers through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program to administer vaccines.

Didn’t they get the message that parents in Virginia aren’t tolerating this shit?

If something goes wrong will the parents be able to sue Jill Biden personally?

Bottom line is…they have no proof of this poison being safe as there has been no long term studies done on this new vaccine format. Of course, they will push their position…just look at how many politicians will lose money if Pfizer stocks drop.

There’s no defending this it’s against the Nuremberg code

And still nothing about people with natural antibodies. Why is this the first disease in history that the medical community deems appropriate to vaccinate people, especially children, who recovered from the illness? Following science? Nope. Following the dollars is a more likely scenario.

Meanwhile CNN needs actual puppets to agree with them that injecting kids is a good thing:

Democrats approve of killing children by means of abortion. Now they want to kill school age children.

This administration is the devil’s advocate.

Home school saves lives.

Top Biden officials urging school administrators to help get students vaccinated

Top Biden administration officials are urging school administrators to help students get vaccinated, days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended a vaccine for young children.

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona penned a Dear Colleague letter to superintendents and elementary school principals on Monday, pleading with them to assist in the vaccination push for young children following the CDC’s approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for kids ages five to 11.

“Today we reach out to you with encouragement for you to actively support the vaccination process for children in your state, territories, county, tribes, communities, and schools,” the two officials wrote in the letter, which was obtained by Politico.

They said the inoculation is “the best tool we have to keep our students safe from COVID-19,” keep schools open during the academic calendar and help limit the spread of the virus in the classroom.

Specifically, Becerra and Cardona are asking school administrators to host COVID-19 vaccine clinics at their facilities to offer on-site inoculation, distribute information about the vaccine to all families that have children ages five to 11 to they have facts and figures from a trusted source, and host conversations about the vaccine with school communities in partnership with doctors and other trusted local medical voices.

First lady Jill Biden and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy are also pushing for schools to get their students inoculated. The two figures are scheduled to travel to an elementary school in McLean, Virginia on Monday to set into motion a nationwide campaign to advertise vaccines for young children.

The school they are visiting — Franklin Sherman Elementary School — was the first facility to issue the polio vaccine in 1954, according to The Associated Press.

Becerra and Cardona underscored the unique role schools can play in the U.S.’s vaccination effort, pointing out that they are a trusted source for information on the shots.

“Parents listen closely to school leaders and personnel: according to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll from earlier this summer, parents are approximately twice as likely to get their child vaccinated if their school provides information about the vaccine,” the officials wrote.

“We urge you to do all you can to help parents and families learn about the vaccine and get access to it,” they added.

They are also asking that schools offer paid time off to employees that way they can take their own children to get inoculated.

“As trusted partners in your communities, we ask that you do all that you can to help accelerate vaccination among school-age children,” the two officials concluded by saying.

I personally think that the government needs to stay out of our business. If we want the shots, and want our children to have the shots, that’s fine. None of my business and not the business of the government.

I don’t want the vaccine and neither does anyone in my family. We aren’t taking it and we will never take it. Just watch though, some progressive school district WILL vaccinate kids at school without parental permission. Question is - what will parents do about it then?

Its really good to see you guys back here in this forum again. Its been a long time! :grinning:

The fact that Jill Biden thinks that anyone is listening to anything she says shows just how out of touch the Biden Administration is with the American people.

Jill Biden should be arrested for elder abuse.

Are they forcing your children to be vaccinated? Or are they recommending it? It is still a parent’s choice.

They weren’t forcing anyone to get the vaccine at first. Now they are. What makes you think that they won’t do that with the children of our country? The fact is you know it’s heading that direction. We all do and no one should stand for it. If you want to voluntarily play fast and loose with your kids and their health, then that is your stupid decision as a parent.
