Federal ruling in TX finds Obamacare is unconstitutional

Finally we may be on the way to getting rid (completely) of Obamacare. This case still has to go through the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the SCOTUS.

It’s chances of being affirmed by the 5th Circuit may be high, but it will likely not survive the SCOTUS and Chief Justice John Roberts.

Here lies a copy of the ruling as filed on Dec 14, 2019.

Not the first such ruling. It’s only a matter of time before it is completely undone in spite of democrats and spineless republicans in the legislature.

Is the ACA a great solution?

Not really. My daughter is in search of healthcare and her employer doesn’t
cover healthcare.
We went to the exchange.

Here is what we found. Many doctors will not accept ACA insurance.
The ACA doesn’t cover specialty drugs.
The ACA may offer a discount however if you exceed the amount you specify you will repay the ACA and be subject to a fine.
The ACA will cover the first month of insurance if you don’t pay and you can see your doctors. The second and third months if not paid will hav to b paid by the doctor as the ACA will not cover months 2 and 3. Doctors are required to treat you regardless if they are paid by insurance company.

Where does this make sense in anyones mind?

p.s. We skipped the exchange and I help pay my daughters insurance via a direct purchase from United Healthcare.
