# Fauci: No ‘Firm Answer’ on Why Americans Who Recovered From COVID-19 Should Get Vaccinated

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top U.S. public health official, said that a new study regarding so-called natural immunity following COVID-19 infection is provoking discussion among government experts.

The real-world study, conducted by Israeli researchers, found that previous COVID-19 infection confers better protection against infection and hospitalization than COVID-19 vaccines.

COVID-19 is the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was asked Friday about the research in the context of convincing people who have natural immunity, or recovered from COVID-19, to get vaccinated.

“I get calls all the time people say, ‘I’ve already had COVID, I’m protected.’ And now the study says maybe even more protected than the vaccine alone. Should they also get the vaccine? How do you make the case to them?” Dr. Sanjay Gupta asked Fauci during an appearance on CNN.

“I don’t have a really firm answer for you on that,” Fauci responded.

“That’s something that we’re going to have to discuss regarding the durability of the response. The one thing that paper from Israel didn’t tell you is whether or not—as high as the protection is with natural infection—what’s the durability compared to the durability of a vaccine? So it is conceivable that you got infected, you’re protected, but you may not be protected for an indefinite period of time,” he continued.

“So I think that is something that we need to sit down and discuss seriously because you very appropriately pointed out, it is an issue, and there could be an argument for saying what you said.”

Some experts who have studied the matter have expressed confusion as to why vaccination efforts are not focused on those who have not gotten a shot and have not recovered from COVID-19.

“We’re trying to update policy such that people who have recovered have the same privileges and access as people who are vaccinated,” Dr. Jeffrey Klausner, clinical professor of preventive medicine and medicine at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, told The Epoch Times previously.

The Israel findings, because they’re based on real-world data, even led Pfizer board member Scott Gottlieb, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, to call for natural immunity to be part of policy discussions.

“The balance of the evidence demonstrates that natural immunity confers a durable protection,” Gottlieb said during a recent television appearance.

Fauci should be in prison when this pandemic of a Bad Cold is over.

It’s the same for anything, I mean if someone has already had measles they are IMMUNE after that to getting measles, if someone has already had chickenpox they are IMMUNE after that to getting chickenpox.

The weirdest thing is is the vaccination for COVID-19 even EFFECTIVE? IF it is, then WHY are they saying people have to get up to three or more or even ENDLESS Booster shots every 6 months?

The weirder thing than that is, if the COVID-19 vaccine works and protects someone from COVID-19 then WHY should the vaccinated be AFRAID of the unvaccinated? If they are already vaccinated against COVID-19 then they should have NOTHING to be afraid of.

Pretty much like the flu, you have to get a flu shot every year.

And they guess the wrong strain 85% of the time , so what good is getting injected with God know what and find out you got the flu because thet guessed wrong AGAIN !!!

This year’s flu shot will likely be ineffective in the US, UK and Canada, expert warns | Daily Mail Online

No, the CDC did not just “admit” that this year’s flu vaccine doesn’t work | Science-Based Medicine (sciencebasedmedicine.org)

This virus is here to stay and I believed that since the beginning. I remember folks having their second shot and running out to dinner because they were finally “immune”.

That’s how it was sold to many people.

Now, we know that vaccinated people carry Covid and booster shots will be necessary. However, the FDA has not approved booster shots. Yet, that is being touted as a given. No “following the science”.

We do know the severity of Covid is not as deadly if vaccinated which is a plus. We know breakthrough cases are getting higher as more variants, especially Delta emerge.

The US Food and Drug Administration announced the resignations of two top vaccine officials on Tuesday, and reports said the two were leaving in anger over the Biden administration’s plan to roll out COVID-19 booster shots before officials had a chance to approve it.

Yes it is here to stay.
It’s a virus much like many other viruses. It mutates.
The government lies to the people and they believe the lie, take the vaccine and it will go away.

The mutation will come from a 3d world country that bypasses the vaccines we have today and it will begin again.

Top officials at the Centers for Disease Control illustrate the uncertainty among scientists. CDC director Rochelle Walensky said in April that fully vaccinated people “do not carry the virus.” By July, she was arguing that they spread it just as easily as the unvaccinated.

Public health officials can be forgiven for updating their views as new data come in. But the fluidity of the situation makes defining clear goals all the more important, and the failure to do so all the more inexcusable.

So the lies from the administration keep coming.

It’s the right that is causing the problems today.
The GOP governors.
Trump
Trump supporters.
Excuses.

FLASHBACK: Biden Administration Promised It Wouldn’t Mandate COVID-19 Vaccine

SEPTEMBER 10, 2021 By Jordan Davidson

For months, President Joe Biden, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and other key members of the Biden administration swore that the federal government would not mandate the COVID-19 shot.

Psaki repeated this lie through her other press briefings and noted that the government wanted to ensure “these systems are not used against people unfairly.”

“That’s not the role of the federal government,” she said in July. “That’s the role that institutions, private-sector entities, and others, may take.”

Fauci and CDC officials also peddled this narrative, agreeing that there would be “no nationwide mandate.”

In December, Biden called for 100 days of masking to stop the spread of the virus. Now, nine months into his tenure in the White House, Americans are still subject to a federal mask mandate when they travel.

His administration also flip-flopped on its school reopening goals based on the whims and wishes of leftist teachers unions. The same thing happened with the CDC’s ever-changing mask guidelines.

The lies.

It’s a power grab.

DeSantis is well ahead of the curve on this. He has set up monoclonal antibody centers throughout the state.

Folks with Covid have recovered much faster with this therapy. My 22 year old receptionist was one of them.

Yet, you don’t hear about things like this. Just get the vaccine!

I am by no means anti-covid vax. For many, it is a life saver. I am completely against it being mandated or creating a two class society. Especially the hypocrisy when immigrants can opt out.

One thing, if this does go through, businesses will adapt.

Split the corporations to employ only 99 people or the businesses who have below 100 employees are going to have a recruiting field day.

It is amazing to me how people in government really can’s see ten feet in front of them or comprehend cause and effect.

More headed our way:

An upstate New York hospital announced on Friday that it would pause baby deliveries in its maternity ward over an epidemic of resignations related to the state’s COVID vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

“If we can pause the service and now focus on recruiting nurses who are vaccinated, we will be able to reengage in delivering babies here in Lewis County,” said Lewis County Health System Chief Executive Officer Gerald Cayer according to a report by WWNY.

In the maternity ward alone, there have been six resignations which will cause the hospital to halt delivery services after September 24, a situation Cayer hopes is temporary. However, another seven employees in the unit are still on the fence about the shot which could lead to a longer than hoped-for “pause” in services.

Halting baby deliveries, even temporarily, had many people scratching their heads about the logistics of such a statement as biology typically dictates when a baby is ready to come out of the oven.

There’s a whole lot of pro-mandate bubble dwellers about to be massively inconvenienced…and btw, how the hell do they just “pause” on delivering babies? “Sorry you’re in labor, but now’s not a good time for us. Check back in 2 weeks…”

I do think those babies will come anyway

Jesse Kelly, host of the nationally syndicated “Jesse Kelly Show,” didn’t question the pause on deliveries, but instead reacted to the hospital’s announcement with a resounding affirmation that resignations and boycotts were the best way to oppose the mandates.

“More. Give me more of this,” Kelly tweeted. “Bring The System to its knees. Make them feel pain. Boycott. Resign en-mass. Rebel.”

While the mandate has encouraged 30 employees to roll up their sleeves, an equal number have walked out the door instead.

“Our hope is as we get closer (to the deadline), the numbers will increase of individuals who are vaccinated, fewer individuals will leave and maybe, with a little luck, some of those who have resigned will reconsider,” Cayer said, who oversees some 629 employees. “We are not alone. There are thousands of positions that are open north of the Thruway and now we have a challenge to work through, you know, with the vaccination mandate.”

There are 165 hospital workers, making up 27 percent of the workforce, who have not yet get gotten the “Fauci-ouchie.”

The remaining 464 hospital workers, or 73 percent, have been inoculated against COVID-19.

Cayer indicated that the hospital respects the decision of any employee who decides to not get the shot, indicating that it is a “personal choice.” Although he said the hospital would welcome back any employee who resigned but later has a change of heart and decides to get the vaccine, there is no indication on how long that offer will be honored.

Many were quick to criticize those willing to resign, but others agreed with Kelly that the only way to fight back was to resign and not give even an inch.

OK, that’s going to look great on a resume. Good luck getting hired again at most places. Folks, beware of people with safe jobs and greedy pundits telling you to sacrifice your financial status for a meaningless gesture. Consider that you might be being conned.

Mass civil disobedience. This is the way.

Yes, flush out the whack-jobs. I wouldn’t want to be treated by a medical professional that doesn’t want to take vaccine.

Others found some humor in the situation

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) announced a vaccine mandate on August 16 for the state’s estimated 625,500 healthcare workers including all staff at hospitals and long-term care facilities, nursing homes, adult care, and other congregate care settings. The deadline to comply is September 27 and has limited exceptions for religious or medical reasons.

The announcement may be foreshadowing to the future implications of President Joe Biden’s announcement last week imposing an unprecedented nationwide COVID-19 vaccine mandate on all federal employees as well as private businesses with 100 or more employees.
