Elon Musk's Twitter Aquisition, Censorship and the Proxy War +++ UPDATES+++

Here is the list of demands made by Twitter employees. It’s hilarious!

Musk buying Twitter isn’t about free speech. It’s about Musk transferring some of his other company and/or personal debt liability to Twitter. Then letting bankruptcy court give all his creditors a haircut.

“The firings will continue until morale improves”

On the bright side, hard to spread election disinformation on a platform that has imploded.

Elon Musk will grant them the right to work from home…for someone else.

Maybe or maybe not. Do you think free speech should be allowed on Twitter? Or do you believe only liberals voices should be heard?

I don’t think so. I think Musk is much smarter than that and sees Twitters potential as being the open town square for the exchange of ideas and the pulse for live real time news that surpasses the traditional controlled narratives of MSM. My prediction is the company’s stock value is going to go way up that is if our economy doesn’t tank completely first.

I saw this and is totally indicative and revealing who the leftist are and where they have been hiding. It makes perfect sense why they went after conservative voices for so long, they were sitting behind computers with cushy jobs in tech and acting sanctimoniously self righteous holier than thou asshats because their way of life became threatened not because they believed in this bullshit of hate speech but were afraid of losing their perks. Self entitlement brats!

I literally LOLed :joy:

Ghfdsa

This whole saga has mystified me. It makes me wonder about a couple of things:

First, how does something like Twitter become this cause celebre? I haven’t joined Twitter and see little value in it. This place is the only place on the internet that I communicate with people on, and I don’t do that much. I’m sure that many are fine people, but knowing someone in cyberspace doesn’t seem very real or rewarding. To the extent that many do, I think that it’s a troubling trend. Oh well, that’s for another thread.

The second thing that this makes me wonder about is: If I had the money that Musk has, which is more that I could count or spend if I did nothing but try to spend it, what would I do with it?

I think that what Musk is doing is a pretty good way to have an impact for good without having to rely on politicians or do-gooders who have become their stooges. Go after one of the biggest offenders in the area of political censorship. Personally, I’d take pleasure in buying the New York Times, turning it into the Weekly World News and watching the cockroaches scatter. Then I’d do it for the Washington Post. Take it as a badge of honor to be smeared by Bob Woodward. I’m a geezer so newspapers that are flagrant propaganda organs bug me more than things like Twitter. Musk is making the cockroaches scatter in cyberspace, which is just as good, maybe even better these days.

However, it seems like a lost cause. I suspect that the reason that there are mediocre guys like Zuckerberg in that ridiculously rich zone is that somehow, politicians have decided that grooming oligarchs who will do their bidding is the way of the future here - and those trillions that they toss around so carelessly are pointed in their general direction. Musk is the fly in the ointment, and they’ll find a way to stop him. This country has become a cockroach farm.

That is pretty funny as sh*t!

Give it time you may see it still in your life time.

Its potential is still unrealized and its also were news happens because all the so called journalists go to voice their opinions on stories. Think about it this way, imagine we were still living in the era of when we didn’t have internet or social media, and this pandemic happened, the history books would have written about COVID from the perspective of established power.

The story would have been about the triumph of science and politics as saviors of humanity. Their outrageous lies would have become part of settled history. So for all the negatives that social media has contributed to there is still one positive to take away from this.

Some were planning this moment for a long time!
