Democrats Are Denying Basic Economics

Clearly the village idiot with dementia has tax accountants that he used to his advantage to pay less in tax.

Clearly your a partisan hack.

I can disparage the f**cking moron in the WH today as you did for 4 years.

But h isn’t a f*cking idiot but a dementia ridden senior citizen.

DemoRATS think they’ve found a silver bullet for the impasse over the debt limit, except the bullet is made of platinum: Mint a $1 trillion coin, token of all tokens, and use it to flood the treasury with cash.

It’s because a asinine law from years ago that seem to allow this braindead administration to mint coins of any denomination without congressional approval as long as they’re platinum. The new version of the old money tree . WTF

Of course Mitch McConnell caves to Democrats, and gets nothing in return. Mitch needs to go

The dems think spending trillions and trillions more on NEW and massively EXPANDED government programs will some how be smart financially rather than fiscal insanity . We are UNABLE to pay for the existing social programs, like Social Security and Medicare which will be BROKE VERY SOON !

So far it appears the prediction of the Kerrey/Danforth report may come true.
(You can’t imagine the really somber mood in a class full of advanced college Economics students when our professor read us the highlights of that report.)
Basically, if NOTHING is done about deficit spending, by the year 2030 the ENTIRE budget will be INTEREST ON SOSHA CURITY, and THAT’S IT.
Taxation will be 90 percent for everyone. There will be ZERO money for government, schools, roads, military, any other welfare programs, etc.

Just INTEREST ON SOSHA CURITY.

By the way, Sosha Curity will not be broke because it is a welfare program. The administrators who first created it argued it before the Supreme Court as a WELFARE program. And the administrators argued that Sosha Curity exists ONLY according to Congress’s ability to tax.

LOL,
The interest the debt will become the largest line item.

When reality sets in, the discussion will begin What we can afford and what is really important.

SS is interesting as people have paid in their entire lives and congress has squandered the money and it has become a pay as you go system.

Wrong ! Premiums are paid into the INSURANCE policy for over 45 years . Welfare is totally different .

Although Social Security is all of those things and more, rarely is it ever viewed as a welfare program . Social Security is properly a federal Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) program .

One with no guarantees of payout.

With the amount taken from workers over those 45 years an real insurance policy would reap 10 times the benefits and provide for a family and children if worker passed away .

With all the changes it’s no wonder SS is a pay as you go system. Neat trick take the money invest it in IOU’s and spend it claiming there is a fund.

Nope. Those are not premiums. Those are TAXES. There is no separate Sosha Curity trust fund. It never existed.

From Reagan’s famous “A Time For Choosing.”

We have been told in millions of pieces of literature and press releases that Social Security is an insurance program, but the executives of Social Security appeared before the Supreme Court in the case of Nestor v. Fleming and proved to the Court’s satisfaction that it is not insurance but is a welfare program, and Social Security dues are a tax for the general use of the government. Well it can’t be both: insurance and welfare. Later, appearing before a Congressional Committee, they admitted that Social Security is today298 billion dollars in the red. This fiscal irresponsibility has already caught up
with us.

It, ACCORDING TO THE LEGAL EXPERTS is a welfare program.

https://www.ssa.gov/policy/trust-funds-summary.html

An “entitlement,” as a type of federal spending, is a government program in which recipients automatically receive benefits that they’re eligible for based on the applicable legislation. Social Security is an entitlement because everyone who meets the eligibility criteria (40 “quarters” of eligible earnings) is entitled to a benefit.

Welfare is a type of government support intended to ensure that members of a society can meet basic human needs such as food and shelter.

Democrats are the champions of the middle class. We’re for a strong, healthy America and for the millions of people who struggle to make a living and raise a family.

That’s why Democrats will continue fighting to lower health care costs and prescription drug prices, ensure that workers have the right to organize, and help Americans buy quality, affordable child care – and not pass the cost on to the backs of struggling middle class families.

Not according to the government. And not according to basic macroeconomics. We learned this in college Economics 101. There are two forms of government spending: Discretionary (where the taxpayer gets value for the dollar-education, military, roads, etc) and Entitlements, which are basically transfers of cash. Sosha Curity, Medicare, :Medicaid, AFDC, Food Stamps, etc are all listed in Entitlements.

To bring you up to speed on Sosha Curity, the first recipient of the program was Ida Mae Fuller. She paid a total of $22.54 through payroll taxes. She began getting benefits and collected over $22,000 in benefits before she died.

In the private sector (and I know this because I used to sell insurance) her program would have been called an annuity. Pay into it for a lifetime and it “annuitizes” (yes, there is such a verb) according to interest made on the money in the account. It becomes a bet to see if one will outlive one’s account.

Thing is, if Sosha Curity were a private sector annuity company, it would be shut down by the government based on the laws of how it handles private accounts. This is because Sosha Curity doesn’t have private accounts for each recipient. There’s just taxes paid in and money going out. That qualifies as welfare. And remember, it was the ORIGINAL administrators of Sosha Curity who first referred to it as a WELFARE program. That’s not my terminology.

If you think that, I’ve got some Pacific Oceanfront property in Iowa I’ll be glad to sell you for an awesome discount price.

WHY DO YOU THINK THE BLUE STATES REFUSE TO REQUIRE PHOTO IDS AT THE POLLING PLACES? WHY DO YOU THINK THESE SAME STATES ALLOWED MAIL IN VOTING WITHOUT CHECKING POSTMARKS.

These states have no problem with welfare fraud. They also have no means of checking on whether or not the recipient is in this country legally. Hell, the state of California gave illegal aliens DRIVERS’ LICENSES, (which by the way is a crime.)

Grow up. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Democrats just RAISED TAXES on the poor and middle class. Democrat policies have DESTROYED families for several generations.
Democrat policies have caused health care costs to SKYROCKET.
INFLATION is a Democrat Party tax on the poor.

Grow a brain. Life is much simpler when you aren’t just quoting stupidity from THE VIEW.
