The emphasis on āowning your own homeā and giving council tenants the right to buy the homes they lived in was all a plot. As soon as the number of owner-occupiers was up around the 65% mark MT knew that a lot of the ācouncil tax payersā would support the idea of āthe community chargeā.
Some did support it, but the reality was just another tax-grab and hence riots.

No, it doesnāt. It means Didge is human. It means all of us humans can not possibly understand the will of God. We question, get angry, sad, indifferent, and form opinions because we can not ever understand the mind of God. God knows this. He became a mortal man and went through all the human things we do in order to save all of usā¦ if we have faith and believe.

I canāt say much about Masons, honestly, except the Masons I met were nice people. I donāt know what they learn in their lodges and I guess it depends on which lodge and which degree they have earned.
My father was a Mason. He wanted nothing more than for his two sons to become Masons. Neither one of us did. He always told usā¦ if a man wears the ring, you can trust him, and he is a man in every sense of the word. I loved my dad. He was my hero. I still try to make him proud, even after he has been dead for 18 years. Say what you want about the Masonsā¦ I only know them to be very real menā¦ in every sense of the word.

I only conversed with Masons without knowing them personally, including a black businessman. We sat on a plane next to each other. I suppose they were in the āblueā lodge.
