D-Day 2019 - Seventy-five Years Later

Just think: We fought the National SOCIALIST Workers Party (NAZI) and won, and then after that we had a cold war with the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics (USSR) to protect Liberty.

And today? We have Democrat SOCIALISTS trying to drag our nation into the same ruin where the other socialists have ended up.

Democrats are the new true enemy of America, Freedom and Liberty.

NOTE: And before some dope pipes up and says “The Soviets were Communists not socialists”, that’s bullshit. Communism was their political system and their political party. Socialism was their economic model.

The battle of Iwo Jima was totally meaningless both for Americans and Japanese.

What a clueless idiot.

Iwo Jima had to be taken because of it’s strategic location, it’s ability to threaten US forces from behind and it’s ability to continue supplying Japanese forces.

More importantly it was necessary as a base to provide long range fighter cover for the bombers heading to Japan and as an emergency landing site for damaged bombers for returning.

It also provided a base for attack aircraft on anti surface, anti submarine patrols supplying Japanese forces by sea and the coastal express whereby small barges and subs were used to keep isolated units operating and threatening the US advance as well as tying up Allied forces necessary for the advance on the home Islands.

The rest of your idiotic ■■■ hating rant isn’t worth even responding to.

Stalin and his henchmen were all Atheists.

Came across this today and thought I should share it here.

A fine actor telling a first person account of D-Day as written by the participant.

Please stop responding to these morons they are purposely trying to derail this thread!

I have a problem leaving lies and stupidity to stand unchallenged.

Me too. I feel your pain. As a Catholic I was seething with rage yesterday in that thread about the transgender kid.
It amazes me how so many conservatives who know how the media lies about them, can turn around and jump on that same lying media’s bandwagon when they lie about us Catholics. I’ll never understand that.

But I digress.

I understand that! But it isn’t enough that these morons have entire threads dedicated to this asinine topic that they have to show up in every thread on this site spewing their nonsense while hiding behind the guise of free speech as justification for it! It is also rather disrespectful to what this thread topic is supposed to be about and you need to stop encouraging their dickheaded behaviour!

We can only report the off topic deflections which will not be deleted and the perp’s will not be banned, and show them to be lies, misinformation, disinformation, and stupid.

It’s up to the management to manage and us to determine if and how to reply.

I’m not going to let the stupidity and hate filled lies stand unchallenged.

Well if it is off topic or inappropriate I am going to flag it! It is pretty clear what their motives are in their objectives! Respectfully I am just asking not to continue to encourage their behaviour!

I’m flagging them too to no avail, that only leaves us two options. My option is not to let the lies and stupidity go unchallenged.

Now we’re the one’s side tracking the thread.

Look, I understand what you are trying to do and I appreciate it, but you were a prolific poster on their threads discussing these very same topics to the point of exhaustion, but there is no place for it here! I am just asking you to respect my request not to engage with them here and to recognise that by responding to them you are encouraging them to continue their behaviour by posting their crap here! It’s quite simple and not hard to understand that! I am not going say anything more on this! Please respect what I am saying!

I respect what you are saying but they are going to keep posting their crap whether it’s responded to or not.

We’re doing more to derail the thread by carrying this on than he did.

For those who’ve never seen them two of the best movies ever made about D-Day are “The Longest Day” and “Saving Private Ryan”.

The realism of Private Ryan was such that I couldn’t watch it for many years until after it came out.

Really worth watching the whole way through. Good find.

Yeah, I really liked it too! It amazes me the incredible odds these men faced and I really can’t imagine the fear these young brave soldiers were dealing with while moments before landing on that beach!

I knew a lot of D-Day survivors growing up including in my own family. I also had the honor and pleasure of meeting hundreds of them in 84 and 89 at the D-Day anniversary celebrations. I was lucky enough to get to talk to quite a few of them at events, dinners and such.

What amazes me most of all is that to a man they all said they realized their odds of survival were very slim even before they got into the boats.

They believed in what they were doing and that the sacrifices they might pay were more than worth it even if they never lived long enough to hit the beaches because they knew that Hitler had to be stopped.

Your favorite pain in the ass troll is about to make an appearance.

Island hopping, including the battle of Iwo Jima was meaningless. My post was removed for stating the truth.
Americans and Japanese soldiers there died for nothing.
Japan had been seeking surrender but FDR didn’t allow it because he was part of the banking cabal to test nuke on live targets, as pointed out by Eustace Mullins
(Manhattan project = Wall Street ■■■■ nuke project)
