More TWO-TIER JUSTICE …
Did they forget ???
In March 2020, Cuomo issued a health order that forced senior care facilities to accept thousands of COVID-infected patients who were being discharged from hospitals. The governor’s decision was meant to help relieve overburdened hospitals in the city plagued with COVID-19 patients.

New York’s comptroller revealed that Cuomo had “misled the public” after he undercounted the deaths by more than 50 percent, according to a report from Attorney General Letitia James’s (D) office. The House panel said that Cuomo caused more than 15,000 nursing home patients to die.

Does he get a PASS ???

SO WHERE ARE ALL THE LAWSUITS ???

Andrew Cuomo Won’t Faces Charges for Order That Killed 15,000 Nursing Home Residents.

Disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will not face any state charges associated with his executive order that resulted in the deaths of as many as 15,000 nursing home residents. His order placed COVID positive patients in the nursing homes even though alternative locations were available, a move that quickly led to their deaths.

According to news reports, new Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg will not bring charges in the case.

Cuomo’s lawyer, Elkan Abramowitz, applauded the decision.

He said in a statement: “I was contacted today by the head of the Elder Care Unit from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office who informed me they have closed its investigation involving the Executive Chamber and nursing homes. I was told that after a thorough investigation – as we have said all along – there was no evidence to suggest that any laws were broken.”

The families of elderly people who died in nursing homes are furious:

“Letting Cuomo off the hook is a bad way to start 2022,” said Vivian Zayas, co-founder of Voices For Seniors, whose mother, Ana Martinez, died of COVID while in a nursing rehab facility.

“Fifteen thousand people lost their lives in nursing homes. It doesn’t look like prosecutors are taking this seriously. They’re basically protecting Cuomo.

“We are disappointed in our judicial system.”

Cuomo could still possibly be held accountable.

“Cuomo used his executive power to suppress nursing home deaths while chasing a $5.1 million book deal. Sooner or later the truth will come out,”

SURPRISE , SURPRISE , the Biden administration dropped its investigation.

Trump’s main defense in the case is his argument that banks and his insurers weren’t harmed by his business practices – a point Tur floated during the broadcast while probing the strength of Engoron’s decision.

She wondered if the use of the statute in the Trump case was truly fair to the former president, suggesting that if Trump’s argument was true, this was the first time the statute was used this way in 150 cases.

The host began by explaining Engoron’s decision here, noting that the statute does not require a prosecutor “to show that anybody was hurt by your practices – there’s nobody you defrauded specifically.
