This being true, since I am white and I am a nationalist; making me a white nationalist, I should not be automatically considered white supremacist.
Though I do have some disdain for various behaviors of several different ethnic groups, I harbor the same disdain for white people that exhibit like behavior. I am not a racist person.
I realize you will will never admit that you are wrong here, so I will not discuss this obviously moot point with you further.
I’m so tired of all this race crap. Every single race except for white people get to drone on and on about their history, their culture, their heritage, their race, etc. The minute a white person does this they are shunned and punished. It’s bullshit. What do people think is gonna happen when white kids get penalized for doing this but black kids and hispanic kids get celebrated and rewarded! The white kids are going to dig their heels in and call this bullshit out! They should. I don’t consider myself to be a white nationalist but it’s getting to the point where I have no problem talking about my race and my history the same as anybody who isn’t white gets to. That doesn’t make me a racist. That makes me someone who tells the truth.
Those who were a part of the black nationalist movements in the 60-80’s would certainly argue that point with you. Many ended up in prison and more than a few ended up dead.
The problem I see here in this argument is the definition of “White Nationalism” is being defined by sources like the NY Times to mean it’s definition is racist along the lines of white supremacy in which conflates a literal translation to one that is a associated with a unsavoury historical context such as the civil rights movement where Whites discriminated against blacks! Such terms are not literal but instead are mere revisionist jingoistic terms by changing their literal meaning to one that is symbolic of a particular context associated with an event in time. Another example of this is the so called flag that has often been miscast as the confederate flag! It was never the confederate flag, it was really the Flag of the North Virginia Army, but because the KKK carried the flag it’s meaning and symbolism changed to being racist over time. Another example is the Nazi Swastica that was stolen from an ancient Tibetan symbol which was Long in existence for thousands of years prior to Hitler incorporating it to mean something else! So in conclusion Asaratis is correct in his literal translation of claiming to be a white Nationalist is not racist, as he is ascribing to a factual literal definition of the words themselves, rather than a term that was a coined media phrase used regularly during the civil rights movement! It really depends on which definition you are willing to accept, the original literal definition or one that was redefined by the liberal press!
