Even if just by principle, you can bet that every President from this day forth will be muzzled in their execution of the Presidency, Head of State and Commander in Chief. Your commentary means that you do not understand WHY the witnesses were compelled not to testify. The Legislative branch has no authority to compel the Executive branch, so principally, the Judicial branch would have to interject (layman understanding). The President wants a trial, at which time those witnesses would testify without partisan interference in the house. The tactic is political rather than sinister.

And like Lindsey Graham declared, when the shoe was on the other foot, the moment Nixon defied subpoenas was the moment he became impeachable.

Trump is putting his foot down because he’s Trump and he refuses to bow down to Congress. This has nothing to do with exculpatory evidence. His world view exists under the umbrella of power and influence, strategic choices and optimal decisions based on the long game. He resisted Congress because he respects the constitution and the House bares no superior influence over the President. Had he caved, he would be establishing a grave precedent for all future Presidents. His resistance is the only opportunity for the Executive branch to maintain its balance of powers. If Dems wanted more than a talking point for a second dubious claim and cared about the truth, they would have gone to the Supreme Court, which is proper procedure.
Everything the Dems are doing is framing a libelous narrative to shake down and intimidate the President and any other conservative who fails to bow down to the SJW, “people of color” supremacist revolution. The new Dems want to isolate a race and gender of people from the population like the Germans did the ■■■■ for the purpose of power and financial redistribution. They justify their convictions of moral superiority by picking and choosing historical facts that support their narrative and cry racism, white privilege or colonialism to oppress any and all descent. Because when presented facts, they hurt their feelings.
Just maybe, most people of all races and genders are more resilient then Dems give them credit for. I believe that if any white Democrat really believes in the victim rhetoric and “wokeness” religion they apostolate then not one would qualify for any election by virtue of being white. Why aren’t all white Dems rebalancing first among themselves the imbalance of power they demand exists? Is it not hypocritical to say white privilege on one hand and run for office on the other?They should only elevate people of color and relinquish their personal belongings if they are sincere in their believing people of any race or gender have power by virtue only.

That is not impeachable because he is not violating procedures. The Legislature has no power to require anything from the Executive. The times you mentioned were voluntary, not required.
The rest of my rant is about the bigger picture and hypocrisy. Race and gender are weapons used by Dems to thwart truth and facts. Shaming and blaming is their game and Trump is the token white man that represents all that they hate.
In the eyes of the Democrats, Trump represents the white America that every non-white male Democrat hates. He’s got toxic masculinity and the rest of the hated white profile and taking his power away is symbolic of overcoming the white man.
Put another way, where do Democrats go if America achieves racial and gender equality in their eyes, becausemost Republicans believe that we have gotten there? Furthermore, what would their America look like? I don’t shy away from the undercurrent of why this charade exists.
That’s a lie, the administration provided them tens of thousands of documents just not those that are covered by executive privilege.
Trump is being impeached solely because he beat Hillary and they need to try and damage him politically if they can before the primaries begin in February.
Of course they blew it and instead of damaging him they’ve damaged themselves particularly in the states and districts they must win to defeat him and especially with independents who have now swung widely into the “This Impeachment is a baseless Political Witch hunt” camp.
This impeachment will be laughed out of the Senate and All Pelousi has done is virtually guarantee Trump’s reelection.

That isn’t true. The WH may be compelled to provide some information to them through subpoenas just not everything they demand.
Congress has legitimate oversight authority but they don’t have carte blanch and the separation of powers allows for Executive privilege.
The constitution says nothing relative to “procedures” and impeachment, the bar is “Treason, Bribery, High Crimes and Misdemeanors” none of which has Trump committed.

And again, when the shoe was on the other foot, and Republicans were engaged in a witch hunt that went on from early in Clinton’s first term and ran through the latter part of his second term, over 4 years!!! Beginning with an investigation into a real estate deal that happened long before he was president and netted nothing so the star chamber moved to the suicide of Vince foster and in the end found an opportunity to impeach him for lying about a blow job.
Lindsey Graham at that time said that the president doesn’t have to commit a crime to be impeached, but abuse his office. He also said that Nixon was impeachable upon defying subpoenas. So fuck the hypocritical republicans in this.

The Congressional Demorats have done everything they can to violate Trump’s rights to DUE PROCESS. They always sound self righteous condemning him.They ignorantly believe Tailgunner Joe didn’t do anything wrong bragging about how he had the special prosecutor fired.Obviously not a conflict of interest or an abuse of power.
