I guess Canada forgot 75% of its exports go to the U.S., so Trump’s tariffs and his desire to get North American automakers to move Canada’s production south will severely damage the Canadian economy. Canada’s economy couldn’t survive without America’s support!

If there’s one reason Canada’s military is this weak, it’s the United States. Sharing a border with a benign superpower has given Canada a source of security and deterrence that it didn’t need to buy or build itself. That’s why the country has designed its military not as a self-sufficient force but largely as a supplement to America’s. Time to pay !

Trump’s comments on Canada being the 51st state had an unintended effect that galvanized Canadian liberals. There is no such thing as a conservative in Canada. Pollierve blew a 20 point lead. Carney also has stated that his policies of net zero will be the main focus of his governance. Alberta has already put into motion of leaving Canada and either becoming independent or becoming part of the US. Either way Canada is fucked!
Air Canada is already cutting flights to the USA. Traveling is down or the trade war?
There is a window of opportunity to save American and Canadian airlines.
Allow Russian airlines to fly to the US and Canada, in return for the rights to fly to Moscow, St Petersburg and Vladivostock in the Far East.
Now travellers from Tokyo and Seoul will have to take a very long route to Thailand, then somewhere in the Middle East to reach Europe, taking nearly 20 hours and vice versa, while flying over Moscow is only 11 hours or so.
It will help Boeing too.
