No one HAS to play it and as an adult you can make your own choices.
However, when parent’s are pissing and moaning about their kids being addicted to it that is another story.
Honestly, what kind of a “parent” needs to join a support group to vent about their kids’ obsession with a game? What kind of a “parent” is at a loss at how to reign in their kids?
Take the phone away, take the platforms away and start parenting. As @Zantax said, involve them in healthy alternatives. That is, if you want to be a parent.
Too many parents are happy to have their children occupied with video screens and electronic games…free babysitters.
Too many parents don’t play educational board games with their children…such as Scrabble, Monopoly, etc. There are hundreds of them available…for all ages.
Too many parents are too lazy, too inexperienced or just too stupid to take their children camping…without electronics (except maybe one cellphone for emergencies only).
