Biden no longer plans to accept Democratic nomination in Milwaukee

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden will not travel to Milwaukee to accept the party’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention due to concerns about the surging coronavirus.

The development marks the latest impact the pandemic has had on the party nominating process in the U.S. ahead of November’s general election.

“From the very beginning of this pandemic, we put the health and safety of the American people first,” DNC chair Tom Perez said in a statement.

“We followed the science, listened to the doctors and public health experts, and we continued making adjustments to our plans in order to protect lives. That’s the kind of steady and responsible leadership America deserves.”

Biden will accept the Democratic nomination in his home state of Delaware.

The Hill has reached out to the Biden campaign for comment.

They’re going to do anything they can to stop Joe Biden from having to get in front of a microphone in front of thousands of people. This guy can barely handle one-on-one video conversations from his house without completely falling to pieces.

I suspect they will run him through the elation and if he wins, he will likely resign within the year and turn it over to the VP. The dems are being very careful as to who they chose, it will likely be a person/progressive that could never win an election. Likely a female/minority.

My bet is on that pretend the governor of Georgia getting the nod.

There’s talk of Michelle Obama as well as Whitmer of Mich as well as Warrn.

A complete list of who’s who.
