This is something that has a lot of people screaming and setting off alarm bells that crosses over ethical lines when it comes to Biotech the new term that is becoming synonymous with the future. What is most troubling not only for this particular EO but the term Transhumanist, is the fact it further gives license to Biotech and Pharmaceutical to play God to which some are warning the future is this is furthered in development will make it hard to distinguish between man and machine. When analyzing this particular issue from a ethical standpoint and what the future may look like, then its clear that our species is in big trouble and the predictions made for it may be proven right. Either way you look at this issue, there is not a single argument to which this ends well in the name of science. Especially considering the fact that all men are inherently evil and we shouldn’t take them for their word.
Transhumanism is often described as a cult, and it’s not hard to see why. Its members believe in the power of technology to change the human condition, and they’re willing to put their money where their mouth is. They’ve been known to spend exorbitant amounts of money on body modifications and life extension therapies, all in the name of becoming “better than human.” And they’re not shy about expressing their views, often proselytizing to anyone who will listen about the merits of transhumanism. Even if you don’t agree with their views, it’s hard not to admire their dedication. But at the end of the day, there’s no denying that transhumanism is a cult. And like all cults, its members are willing to go to extreme lengths in pursuit of their goals.
