An activist group standing for “painfully honest conversations between white women and BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color)” has announced that white women and their “obsession” with “being nice” is a “tool of white supremacy,” adding to an ever-growing list of bizarre things included as “white supremacy.”
The group responsible for the tweet, Race2Dinner, headed by Saira Rao, who is well known for outlandish tweets, specifically railing against white women, and Regina Jackson, is an organization designed to extend to white women the opportunity to “smash” their “white fragility” by hiring women of color.
Race2Dinner posted the controversial tweet at the end of last year.
The tweet, which read, “White women’s obsession with “being nice” is one of the most dangerous tools of white supremacy,” garnered some traction.
Rao’s tweets in the past have led social media users to believe she is a parody account.
Some have compared tweets of this nature to the tweets of Titania McGrath, a successful parody account owned by UK comedian, Andrew Doyle. (READ MORE: Titania McGrath, SJW Parody Account, Suspended by Twitter)
On the Race2Dinner website, is an open letter to white women on their ‘about’ page:
Dear white women:
You cause immeasurable pain and damage to Black, Indigenous and brown women. We are here to sit down with you to candidly explain how exactly you cause this pain and damage.
The dinners are a starting point. A place to start thinking through how you actively uphold white supremacy every minute of every day.
What you do after you leave the dinner is up to you.

Rao, a former Democratic congressional candidate, “blamed white people for making her life ‘miserable,’ and said that she can’t stand the sight of the American flag,” according to the Daily Caller.
The mission makes it known to white women that, by “looking at yourself in the mirror and acknowledging that, as a white person in America, you are an active participant in upholding white supremacy.”
They also claim that white women’s “complicity in upholding white supremacy and keeping us Brown and Black women down.”
According to the website‘s mission:
Our mission is simple – reveal the naked truth about RACISM in America and UNLEASH YOUR POWER as white women to dismantle it. This isn’t the stuff of Trump, the KKK and Nazis. That’s easy, it’s obvious and denouncing it requires almost nothing of white folks. What’s hard? Looking at yourself in the mirror and acknowledging that, as a white person in America, you are an active participant in upholding white supremacy. This isn’t personal. This doesn’t make you bad. This is systemic. And this makes you human who is part of that system. As Black and brown women, we too are humans who are part of the system. Only we are on the other side: we are on the receiving end of white supremacy while you are on the giving end. Until and unless white women are willing to disrupt white supremacy, we will never see change. White women: you have the power to disrupt and dismantle the hate.
They go onto say:
white women: We are talking about your complicity in upholding white supremacy and keeping us Brown and Black women down. Our goal is to reveal white privilege, power, control and your complicity in all of the above. You are an integral part of this system. Please use this power to dismantle the hate rather than to uphold it.
The organization has also slammed “white feminism” in the past.
