Apple bans Parler app after Twitter removes Trump

Who said anything about moderators? I don’t see them here regulating speech but nice try! You just love to promote your totalitarian views don’t ya?

And as an American I try to find reasoning from talking heads in the right, and all I get is don’t do anything, don’t be like Democrats, it will work out… sorry but it’s time fight back

But the site still has moderators. As I said the first amendment does not allow you to say what you want where you want without consequence.

I suspect if Someone was threatening the mods and their families, or found out personal information and posted that speech would not protected. And I would expect nothing less.

Yeah nice conflation on your part by being purposely obtuse of the larger point being made. Coming from you that is not surprising!

NO. You idiots need to STOP saying that. There are no limits on free speech. The only limits are limits on infringing on the rights of others. For instance, it’s not illegal to say “I think Toastedcheese is a pedophile.” It IS illegal to say “Toastedcheese is a pedophile and I have proof.” if it’s untrue. Slander. It’s not legal to start a riot but it’s perfectly legal to yell fire in a theater if it’s true or if it causes no harm.

As to the second part, no one said they’re obligated to assist or there can’t be consequences from private organizations. Where we have the problem is when they coordinate together to stop competition. It’s hilarious to watch the left praise AWS for shutting down Parler, knowing they’re the same idiots that praised government for forcing a baker to bake a cake for a wedding. It’s exactly backwards in my view. How much would you freak out if all of the bakers in town collaborated together to not sell to a company that sets up gay weddings? The hypocrisy with the left, as usual, is stunning.

It’s time to fight back. First priority is to fix the election processes in every state with a Conservative legislature and impeach any executive that violated the election laws. Priority 1A is to file an anti-trust law suit on behalf of Parler and take it to the SC. When you say fight back, I agree, so long as that means through the legal process.

Do you SERIOUSLY not understand the difference between SPEECH and a call to action or a threat of violence? I hope Toastedcheese gets it by a bus. LEGAL. I’ll pay someone to run over Toastedcheese with a bus. ILLEGAL. It’s not about free speech, it’s about violating your right to life.

Unfortunately Democrats aren’t going to stop. They have rigged the election.

Of course you are free to say what you want but your ignoring my additional comment about your speech not free from consequences.

BTW I have no problem if a business wants to refuse fo sell anything to anyone as long as they are not violating any laws.

Interestingly enough hosts such as Mark Levin have been threatened with their radio shows been terminated if they continue to dispute the election results. Is this a violation of free speech?

Dude you don’t want to stop discussion, Would you rather be able to breathe or have a job?

Looks like even Parler has limits to free speech.

Read what I said again. I didn’t ignore it. I said there can be consequences, though it violates anti-trust laws to try to put competitors out of business by collusion and force. If I put a competitor out of business by getting one of my vendors to quit selling to them, based off of the threat of losing OUR business (we’re a hell of a lot bigger), it’s ILLEGAL. This is the case with AWS, Apple, Twitter and Google getting together to shut down Parler. It’s unethical and illegal. They need to be sued heavily for this crap. Christ, you people threw a FIT when a damn baker wouldn’t bake a cake for a gay wedding and there were dozens of other bakers out there. They didn’t try to shut down the wedding, they just said “We don’t want to participate.” I would have had a major issue with it if they had contacted the other bakers and colluded together to deny service.

Would they have if Amazon wasn’t threatening a pull out?

If you folks bothered to LISTEN to Parler, you would know that they take down posts WHEN NOTIFIED of illegal activity. They also call the damn police. What they’re objecting to is being forced to actively monitor the content. It’s a platform, not a fucking daycare.

Yes. It’s been their long standing policy to remove posts with illegal content when notified of those posts, as well as contacting the police.

When did I have a fit over bakers? I just told you that I dont care what they bake or dont bake. Why is it so hard to understand that someone may identify as a democrat or republican without having to agree with ever stance.

If its illegal then let the courts decide.

Great so there are limits to free speech. Very happy you finally see that.

So you think Democrats that tried to burn federal agents alive this summer used google, Twitter, Facebook, to organize? Asking for a friend
