AOC's avoidance of a reporter

Just yesterday, I saw on the news that Aleandria Ocasio-Cortez was parroting the line that children were being forced to drink out of toilets near the US-Mexico border.

When she was asked, by a reporter, if she had seen any of this, she simply refused to answer. Instead, she swiftly rolled up the window of the car that she was riding in, thereby allowing her to ignore the question.

Evidently, she was disturbed that anyone would allow the facts to get in the way of a powerful narrative…

What facts. How is the truth about this known? A detained migrant told AOC that CBP employees told them to drink from the toilets if they were thirsty and AOC reported it. CBP head denies it, but how could he know either?

The fact that she never even went inside. It has been proven. She was only saying because, she knows how to get attention. Even the border patrols mentioned she never stepped foot. So as for her making some lame and stupid accusation, or claim, was bogus to begin with.

But the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general’s office said it visited five facilities and found children at three of them “had no access to showers” and “two facilities had not provided children access to hot meals.”
