Another Migrant Caravan Surges into Guatemala heading for Mexico

And those that do are being sent back to Mexico to await their court dates.

Say’s Law says that supply creates its own demand. It’s one of the most powerful economic laws there is, but it is no longer taught or even considered seriously. Mainly because the modern “science” of economics is really just a rationalization for various forms of political abuse.

Anyway, Say’s Law says that if you provide a massive supply of low-wage immigrants (and H1-B immigrants also qualify as “low wage” even though they can make six figure salaries, because they are happy to work for 50% less than a native-born American), the economy will pretty rapidly restructure itself towards taking advantage of those immigrants, and away from accommodating actual native-born Americans. Eventually the system gets restructured so thoroughly that it becomes addicted to this steady supply of low-wage labor, which pathologically must result in a completely borderless economy. Of course, at some point before that endgame is reached, the socially and politically dysfunctional effects of introducing so many aliens into a society so rapidly will cause some form of social collapse–a collapse we can’t really imagine because there isn’t a precedent for it in human history. Probably the closest analogy is the Roman Empire. Their endgame featured massive currency debasement and foreign invasion–by both foreign immigrants and foreign military power.
