Not that odd really. Lotās of folks want soundproof rooms for gaming, home theater, music practice rooms etc.
Such rooms are also not illegal even if fully made up to look like a medieval dungeon so if you reported it to police thereās nothing they could do. That wouldnāt even be grounds to launch an investigation or get a search warrant.
