This isn’t WWII anymore when the best we could do was drop a single bomb within a 300yds radius of the intended target.

Destroy the main force of the IRG and arm the people and they will take care of the rest. Iran has been ripe for a coup for more than a decade, the good guys simply couldn’t get the weapons.
