What puzzles me is the question why these guys (American and Japanese Air Forces) didn’t react.
What can they do? I mean possibly they can shoot it out of the air, but risk the debris crashing over Japan? Tough call.
That’s true. Nobody wants any radioactive debris falling on the head.
By shooting the missile down, you will be demonstrating what you can and cannot do. Not a good strategy.
So far NK missiles were all tests, so let them fly, I guess.
