Oberlin recently lost their appeal to overturn the 44 million dollar judgement against the college for the damages it inflicted on the Gibson bakery with a fake accusation of racism. This is beautiful! This is a victory for what is justice in the world.
Oberlin college in their last attempt to overturn the original ruling for Gibsonās bakery to the tune of 36 million dollars has failed at the Ohio Supreme court. It seems that all their legal options at this point has failed. Pay up suckers!

Oberlin College has finally agreed to pay the Gibsonās the 36 million that the court has decided to award the family in damages. After exhausting all of their appeals in the legal process, the board of trustees at Oberlin college decided to pay the damages in order to move on. While this is a much needed boost and good news for the Owners of the bakery, the cost on the family has been enormous. Whether the community can fully heal from this is another question especially how many view such liberal colleges in todayās social climate, however only time will tell. For the Gibsonās, hopefully this might be the fresh start that they need in order to rebuild their brand and the bakery to which has served their community for over a 100 years.
Itās an old story. The college is a black college, and the thieves were all black students.
This was indeed totally disgusting. Japanese donāt much like Americans especially when they do shit like this. They are always black when it comes to shit like this.
Update:
The Gibsonās finally received their 36 million dollar judgement that a court found Oberlin college liable for. After exhausting their appeals and being denied to be heard at the SCOTUS, Oberlin College finally decided to pay without once offering an apology to the Gibsonās. Sadly the two elders passed away before being able to witness this day, but their family members were available to receive the payment.
